  • Could someone post the relevant info for setting up a usb hd on the ET 9500 please.

    ok its a HDD( hard disk) not HD ( high definition)
    it sounds like its been recognised but You havent mapped it meaning you havent set it up ..
    YOU should have an option somewhere of setting up your HDD to map it ( to set the correct path to be used)
    or go into wherever you have a DEVICES MANAGER and you should see your HDD, use the arrows to map it to /media/hdd
    (as you use the arrows you should see the various options) then save and reboot the system not just the gui...
    then you should be able to use it.. the same for your usb stick except you need to map it to /media/usb then restart system.
    As far as memory recalls on pli images , they are automatically recognised and mapped when plugged in then restart system....
    but if you unplug the media while using the box then you need to map it all over again...
    try oput some of the things I mention and let us know how you get on

    this is only too true for BBc2 viewers in some well known "blackspots" in southern Spain... it goes " out of range"
    for wanting of a better wording in the afternoon fom 374pm until about 7pm
    but meanwhile only 1 km distance there´s no problem at all 24/7 ......

    if you are worried about any certain "risk" factors then just dont do it!!! simple as that!!!
    let me see if I understand you right....
    ¿ you are looking for a site where users take risks uploading their stuff and share it for the good of all and you want to be able to get it for nothing and are worried ??????
    without spamming but utorrent light has an incorporated searchbar where you dont need to go to any "sites"... if thats what you are writing about..

    martin ¿ yuo shjould get yourself an E2 box like a VU then you can watch just about any movie you like on demand on your TV ,,VOD(1channel) for example!!
    other than that ¿whats wrong with torrent sites?? I´ve never had any probs with any of them....

    install latest TS panel ( 5.8) from the site and from our LINUXSAT-SUPPORT ADDONS you will find the most recent settings ( my fav is CATSEYE) to download directly in the box and then you will recieve what your dish will allow which should be all thor if you are in Sweden ..
    Another way is to simply FTP with dreamset or dreambox edit through the PC to the box.. all info is in channel settings section.

    Doh, well as it clearly states " NO USABLE LINK FOUND" .... its nothing to do with your image or box!!!
    th servers which it connects to are quite good and have a great variety of pix for all ages + tastes ,but is limited to whatever films,videos,etc to which the users upload!!
    BTW. you can easily take the time upload a few that you think might be of interest for other users to the servers instead of always expecting them from others!!
    So if we all did our part what a wonderful world it would be!!
