    if you cant log in then sounds like IP has changed ,,in DCC run the IP scan + you´ll find it.
    As far as emus stoppping .. reflash the image then install the emus.
    You have already had help with these issues but they are persistent so that my best suggestion.

    send her to her mother´s........
    but seriously ,the only nearest thing that comes to mind is limit the time the server works (read about it in cardsharing)
    this of course wont work if you are being directly fed from your own card....in that case ,,
    get a 2nd box/tv for next to nothing..

    one thing is the power to get to the lnb ( 13v-18v) but another is the -5+ v to drive the motor.
    .I´ve had several probs with this resulting in rewinding the coil in the motor,etc...
    i have finally ( after 6 yrs use) come to the conclusion that i need a new motor :)
    btw ... I usually have it in SIMPLE mode ..USALS ..

    As you say -you have been using Image is bh media tree' which is with the new kernel 3.1.1 so a reflash shouldnt be any problem,,
    but to be honest there are a lot of "coincidences" with what other users have described,,I have/had the same problem with vu UNO no matter which image I tried..
    .still havent found a way round it as motor is now out of order!!
    why not try a different image + test + compare the results... I cant honestly see it being the image as other users have no problems at all no matter the image..
    sorry ,not being very helpful here but just to give you another "idea"..

    Most images dont have the addons server wiht cams anymore ,so , linuxsat-support decided to build one for you .

    you can find it HERE

    install it then reboot then you can access cams,etc,,,,,,
    it is very easy to install CCcam on an e1 box ,as suggested above..

    Bigfoot - I would definetely reflash that UNO !!! MAKE SURE YOU GET A BACKUP OF YOUR CONFIGS FIRST!!
    in, USR/Lib/opkg i have 3 folders( alternatives,info,lists) then 2 files ( lock,status)
    and start fresh from scratch !!

    the timers.xml file which is found in folder /etc/enigma2/

    In my UNO with bh 1.7.2. there is only 1 timers.xml chmod 644 which contains this :

    Quote

    <?xml version="1.0" ?>
    <timers>
    </timers>

    so eliminate the other one...
    If it continues to ask you to set it up then do so.
    If it continues ,then I would do a complete reflash ofhte image AFTER backing up your .cfgs ,etc,,,
    there´s obviously something that you have either installed recently or changed in the configuration for the image not to take properly..

    you could follow THIS as a guide..
    install Cccam manual from your pc into your dm500
    use an FTP programm like DCC ( Dreambox Control Center).
    FTP CCcam.ppc to var/bin
    rename CCcam.ppc to CCcam
    set the atributes on 755 ( reed right execute )
    FTP the config files to : var/etc
    then open the CCcam.cfg file and adjust it accordingly.
    keep the CCcam.cfg chmod to 644.

    welcome diallo22589 to linuxsat-support.
    This support is for users from users, you have not contributed in anyway towards the forum.
    you have not even bothered to make an introduction.
    I consider this very negative from your part.
    But ,as I do like to try to help,even in the remotest of situations, I will try help you with this situation.
    read HERE
    If this fails then do a reflash.
