I understood that slyuk cards couldn´t be updated by CCcam alone ?? hence the need for oscam.¿ am I wrong in thinking this??
also by keeping #DISABLE EMM this would stop any fake or "killer" emms from other peers to your card?? hence the configuration of clines/flines...

do you have an option of "opentv" ?? try downloading from there,,also another thought ¿ what does the epg.dat weigh? I mean in kbs,,maybe it didnt download properly ...I´ve never had a dm800 so I cant be sure...so its just a thought ;)

download and install teamviewer on your bros pc and on yours; that way you can manipulate his box ,etc, sitting in front of your own pc,,
then there´s no need to travel physically.... -
leave it unplugged overnight ,then try flashing again tomorrow....sometimes when I am flashing from 1 image to another ,it only shows redlight so I unplug it ,have a smoke to chill then plug her in and start her up ;)
you´ve nothing to lose by trying and we´ll keep our fingers crossed for good luck ;) -

you probably haven´t copied over the .exe application,,tell you what... download vlc_1.1.11_win32 from the videolan site then transfer the folder(not the rar) over to add vlc folder to /usr/lib/enimga2/python/Plugins/Extensions / and chmod 755 .
Then reboot the system then you will find it in the plugins folder on the BH green panel like this :

As far as i am aware sat channel frequencies don´t change from continent to continent(some from region to region do,but then thats a different channel),,
each sat provider has its own,,thats why there are so many updates of settings.
living in the UK uses the same frequencies as living in Morrocco from a particular sat like hotbird for example...
I don´t live in the UK but use the same frequencies within the footprint of the sat,,
another thing is I can´t recieve the signal for example nordic beam of thor 0.8w whereas in some parts of the UK they can. -
make sure your system is shut tight solid,,,,,,passwords,ports,,don´t leave anything to default....

if your brother is just going to be a client then n need to open any ports as he will only be recieving so hterefore no need to setup an account either,,,another story is if he is going to be a server also then yes,,account + open port.

Ever notice freezing or stuttering on video playback????
Try this out using VLC ( vlc is compatible with just about all codecs)
First of all , we need VLC on our pc (or wherever we keep our films on LAN)
To ensure we get full permissions ,we have to go to pc menu->control panel->-> firewall and add exception for vlc.
Without this we won´t be able to enjoy our films on vu+.When we have this ready, open VLC and go to the View tab, and add interface, select Web Interface,
Then we go to the Tools tab, Preferences, and there in input / codecs put port 8080.
It is important that do not close the program PC VLC, otherwise the connection will be cut and the VU+ will freeze up and block for a few minutes.Once this is done ,we can go to the VU+.
Then we need VLC to run on the VU+ ,it can be downloaded from plugins( BH is down at the moment) or simply add vlc folder to
/ usr/lib/enimga2/python/Plugins/Extensions / and chmod 755 .Restart the VU+ .
Now go to plugins and you will see VLC player.
Add server,press the green button , fill it with the data you see in the PIX and put the IP of the PC (or wherever we keep our films on LAN)
Save by pressing green button, then press OK to enter the server.
Now we will see the PC drives and move to where we have the films,etc...
Select the movie you want and press OK to play.thanks goes to kevinch9 for the general idea...

If your daughter´s box is outside your home network then it won´t work until you open the designated port in your router.
I have seen previous posts about bt routers but for the life of me can´t find them now using the searchbar ¿¿?? -
do multiroom cards not get updated with the same IP?? just curiosity as I know nothing about multiroom cards...¿are they not paired to the main card??

have you tried installing the oscam+ Cccam config directly from the linuxsat addons ??
could also be permissions ( chmod 755, Cccam.cfg 644) -

BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE ,MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR CONFIGS, ETC,,,,
dont make the folder vuplus.. images are usually already prepared, so format the usb stick fat or fat32, unrar the image directly into the pendrive.
you will see it has already made its own folders.
put stick in front usb...power on uno , press left button -channel(the one nearest the pendrive) it will say either updating or reading usb thats it,,wait until it tells you to remove pendrive and reboot. you then have to switch off the box from the back then switch back on,,hopefully you will see new image starting.
the rest is simply follow the instructions( careful with parental control options etc)
enjoy the new image ;)
