Although this manual ( I assume its complete with the glossary at the end )is for the UNO ,(I have the physical manual that came with the box)

it clearly explains what each perimeter is for irrespective of the apparatus ..as these are specific to each user ( as mentioned earlier)
but it does explain what each one is for and within the pages they show how each can be used..

I´m having a very similar problem with UNO ,,except mine is stuck on 19º.
I have it configured in advanced..
obviously something in the settings which isn´t right ¿¿??
the DM turns it no probs....

Hi , not having this box I´m only guessing that first of all, boxes come with preloaded frequencies to scan...it could need updating..
Apart from trying out your freesatbox now to check that the dish hasn´t moved (winds,etc ) rechecking your cable connections..
you also need to find out which 800 clone you recieved I think ( tuner type etc,) :
¿ did you not recieve a manual with it on how to,,first scan ,etc..?

When I was in Spain Digital+ had some sort of block on the communal dishes so I couldnt receive everything on 19e but basically just what was on the Digital+ package.
This is true in the case of the D* subventions ( they provide the dish/lnb ) (blocking certain freqs)...but this has (nearly) always been replaced (unofficially) by a "universal" LNB.. to avail of the other platforms ;) -
Exactly ddaddy,,,,,,,But then,,, ¿who has the rights?? I mean to unmount it ,realign it?? and if the neighbours disagree???
as I gave the example from over here,,surely there could be one communal dish on the rooftop to feed ,say,up to ¿30?? homes..
just like here and share the costs of maintenance,etc...that way every room/home would have access to sat/DTT ... -

In Spain there is also an existing law that all buildings from 1999 built onwards must have/give accessibility to all possible intercomunications.
Most here are "communal antennae/ dishes" pointing at the 2 main hispanicparlant satellites 19,2ºE + 30ºW as well as DTT.
If a tenant/owner wishes to recieve another signal ,they must forward the proposal in writing to the building administration and contract a registered installer.
After years of experience here, it makes sense not to clutter up the fasciae of buildings,,imagine for example you put up a 60cms dish whilst your neighbours install 120cms motorised dishes above ,beside and under you!!!
Next time you look up at the ***line of the buildings ¿what are all those "aerials" ?' destroys a good photo I tell you..
There are already enough complainants of "mobilephone" antennae on top/sides of buildings,,usually from non-mobile users!!!
Anyway ,getting back to the point... I imagine some cable operators will be frowning at the news !! -
sounds like bad cable connection from lnb to reciever OR dish not properly aligned so losing weaker frequencies....

Another "oldtrick" is that they pàss you a test line reforwarded to another host/port (of theirs) they have setup for a " probation" period whilst they test out yours!!
Imagine if every peer did that !!!

This is a small reminder to those, especially new users to linuxboxes .
Although what is publically posted all over the net from some years ago. (2007) It has come to light that it is occuring again....
This is what was originally posted back then :

maybe because of 1 cw that leads to 100 others and that leads to 100.000 others and so on ( it is autoexecutable + self propogating)when they have hacked you then they upload a tarfile 4347_tool2.tar in /var and unpack it in /var/tool2 and then run a script start.sh in /var/tool2 which uses a binary called tvconnector.
But it isn't always called 4347_tool2.tar. another was named 5059_tool2.tar.Check Your processes under system info, and You'll find several instances of "TVconnector". Kill'em.
it should not be in your dreambox
my advice is to you all check your dreambox and if you see one of thes files/directories in your boxFLASH IT
dont take any risk maybe your box is sending data about your peers ,¿¿¿maybe your box is sending data to collect as evidence against you ??? .This is not to alarm you simply make you aware !!!
As I mentioned at the start ,this has come to light again as it was recently used to " hide" a server within another server and sent the box crazy even passing on old+ fake cards from other servers but the line wasnt visible in DCC but through CCcam info on the TV screen!!!
So ¿ how do you check if your box has this "migrant" ???? go to VAR/tool2 and system info and check for "TVCONNECTOR" then eliminate it then reflash the box..
