Don´t you dare even think about giving up!!!!! you´ve come this far ,even if it´s only a little ;) but you have gained priceless experience,,,
sometimes you need to take a deep breath and step away from it to "see" the problem ;)
It´s all part of the learning proccess and we never stop learning ..that´s the beauty of our hobby ;)
so you just go get your self a cuppa then go for a walk then come back to reading slowly and retrace your steps,,
you will get there in the end..
    :09:

no offence taken at all my friend ,,,,in fact I´m sorry you took me up the wrong way,if you´ll pardon the pun ;)
the options here in Spain are smargo, omnikey or digital identity recognizers ( 15€ in any pc shop here)
I used the example of p2p ,etc as it is common for the times to be higher when someone in my home is downloading/playing online, etc
with 10mbs down 1mbs up... posting helps all of us that are interested in more than just watching the other " box" and want to learn more + more ..
so please do post your findings,,and the line part was just a quick pull of the leg ;) as we don´t condone cardsahring here in the forum ;)
    ;) caz

you can also see entitlements in webinfo ..in your webbrowser ,put the internal IP of the box ,ie : 192.168.1.xx:16001 then a window should ask you for user(default:root) + password of box ..

trails???? it is normal to have traffic on ports nowadays for all the videoconsoles,video/media, to play online ..
but as you say you work in IT????? then you shouldnt have any probs at all with anything!!!!!!
..I only use internet/intranet for common interest hence the friendly suggestion.. and my "training" comes from trial + error experiences..

port 110 is used for mailing,,,lol
    I quote from a source:
    110
    POP Server Port 110
When you run a mail server computer, users will typically log into that
machine via POP3 (Post Office Protocol) or IMAP4 (Internet Message Access
Protocol) to retrieve their mail. POP3 is the most popular protocol for
    accessing mailboxes.

    So now you know you´re problem,,,,more than likely...thats why CCcam uses a default 12000 ..¿why not go for a 9999, 8888,9995,,to name a few..
as you only have a few peers ,,try it out , better to sort it out + change it now than when you have it fully running ;)
¿need someone to try out your new port??? I´m willing ;) caz
    ;) caz

130-ish (which is just outside the "standard margin of 120 limit") sounds like either there are other programmes (p2p,voip,***pe,etc) or other peripherals(pda, laptops, pcs, videoconsoles, etc) or a "nearby neighbour" using up you connection,,then again as rik says ,it could be simply down to your setup....
ECMs on local lan at 3325ms ish and another client was averaging 235 does sound outlandish and irregular..
I would go step by step through the setup from router to card to see if any possible improvements can be made..
of course this is just an idea...I´m sure the pc servers veterans can guide you better
    ;) caz

might be a silly suggestion ,but you did check your IPs weren´t changed??
you say that your cline from server is there ¿ in the clientbox? if so then you just recieve 0 cards? change your cline/fline pass..
if its intranet then put internal IP not host ..
sorry but this is what i can think of at the moment, please let us know how you get on ;)

"you say you want a revolution ,well you know ,they all want to change the cs world"....
actually if you read the recent posts there´s a small evolution going on with emus,(sbox, oscam, etc) I´m trying out chameleon at the moment with a friend but can´t really see it catching on, as the majority just want commodity,ie,watch the footie or favourite series.
you can only hope cs continues at least til we get "decent speeds" at a "decent price" ..and total access for iptv etc..

in the Cccam.cfg ( I presume you are using CCcam) you should see this: #SERVER LISTEN PORT : 17000
eliminate the # in front of it
¿ why have you opened 2 ports? when CCcam only needs 1 ??

I agree with you about it being confusing at first, but believe me theres nothing like personal experience to try out and learn ,mainly through errors..
personally i wouldnt recommend no-ip ..seems to give more hassle than dyndns, but thats a personal choice(others would probably disagree).. ,
your router is dynamic but on your internal net (intranet) would be similar to 192.168.1.1 ,your pc is internally fixed on an internal 192.168.1.X..... your dm should be on an internal 192.168.1.+2 up from/to your pc........( these 192s are just examples)
whichever ip you assign to the DM ,you should see it in your network card in dm + also in DCC to connect..
when you open a listen to port : for example 17000 in your router assigned to the IP of the dm ,
then in your cccam.cfg ,you should have LISTEN TO PORT: 17000 also...
to be a client you dont need any port open ,but to be a server you do..
take a slow read of this : http://linuxsat-support.com/ca…nes-clines-beginners.html
hope it doesnt confuse you even more ;)

paul1777 .without sounding rude ,but you really should read up a little more ,,in fact ,never stop reading ,its the key to success..
look at this post for example: http://linuxsat-support.com/ca…ine-see-if-port-open.html
    or this one : http://linuxsat-support.com/ca…how-check-open-ports.html
everything( or just about ) you need has already been posted ,its just a question of looking for it...
start with the "stickies" in each section ,then the particular posts,,,,
I hope you dont take this as a criticism, but some friendly advice..
