before you replace it ,check the angle it is at,,as you?ll need to know to fine tune the signal strength to maximum..
usually just two screws holding it in place..

in my gemini___ remote control_menu-adjustments-advanced adjustments -network card adjustments-
configure your card to the IP you choose
or in the hard drive _for example C -then open programmes-find your version of Cccaminfophp or cs studio ,,
open it - inside you will see a folder called htdocs -open it..then you will see the IP of your box ,,,,,,,
as a side note ,if you ever want to "refresh" your caminfo ,simply eliminate the folder with 192.xxxxx and nxt time yuou open your caminfo you will see a"true" reading of your CCcam...

looks a little tight hunting westerly sats,,,,but nice one all the same!!!!!

remember to restart the box with the remote control ,as a simple reboot in telnet wont save the change..then when you open DCC ,remember to put the new pass if its not there already..

if you keep an uptodate softkey file you?ll have Biss ;)

careful which port you leave open for streaming through the net,,,,,,,,,it means its open for one + all,,,so protect it well with pass....

and while you?re at it make sure its HD ready...lol

through DCC you can find out the box IP or simply open adjustments and look at the network card..then change it either in the network card or the caminfo...

using gemini image 4.70 and CCcam 2.1.4 ,first i registered with site: http://www.techniradio.de/Technik/index.php?contentID=2 making sure i put the correct number in the correct place:the ticket number is the one on scratch card ..the serial number is the one beside the chip on the smartcard(in my case a sticky had the serial number but different codeand so wouldnt register first time) then in CCcam.cfg i opened this: B: /dev/sci0 00 to ensure that there could be no blockages of EMMS(although this is already configured as default, I simply eliminated the #) and so left it on MTV HITS in 19?E conax ,it started to recieve ECMS + EMMS ..i have tried out the various channels and working 100%.... hope this and ddaddy?s experience helps out others.....

As we know , every now and then channels and frequencies change.
I have used vhannibal as an example but you can apply this to just about all setting,channel lists,bouquets ,etc..

FIRST: we download the latest update of channels from Sarai reindirizzato automaticamente sul nuovo sito

we choose which suits us best,
bear in mind if it is E1 or E2
SECOND: then we download dreamset from Dreamset Settings Editor.
THIRD: we have to know the IP of our reciever.
FOURTH: these files are usually in RAR format,so we have to open them in the same folder( usually a new folder in your desktop or reciever folder)
FIFTH: we open dreamset,once open we go to SETUP.
This is where we configure to access our reciever.
we modify the IP to the used IP for our reciever.
user name:root (default)
password:whichever pass you have in your reciever.
Then we press "save configuration".
If everything is correct we press "TEST CONFIGURATION" and everything should be OK.
If not ,start from the beginning again.
SIXTH: to upload the updated channels list via dreamset.
we press "OPEN"
we find and open where we have our channel list saved.
we see them loaded in dreamset,now we have to upload them to our reciever.
SEVENTH: we now press "Transfer" then "write" ,depending on which
list we are uploading could take a few minutes.
And that?s it,we should have our channels list ready to use..
its easy to follow...
