probably either the usb patch bin 9.5402 is not in correct format or became corrupted in downloading ..

I use DCC e2 post#9 to communicate with the box but Filezilla is also a good option too..
Easy - either use deramset or dreambox edit to eliminate everything but 28º
or install the latest catseye 28º IPk from our addons and you should be left with just 28º..

hi ive tried to install addons panel and my computer with windows 7 does not recognise the addons panel download --
The addons is installed on your solo2 for your solo2....
It is an IPK format meaning that you transfer it directly to the solo2 using FTP.
FTP it to var/volatile/tmp and then on r.c press green-yellow to addons manager.
look down the list to MANUALLY INSTALL IPK PACKAGES.
press OK and you should see theIPK listed press OK on theIPK and it will install tehn a reboot is required afterwards.
Once solo2 has started up again look in menu- plugins and you will see linuxsat-support addons plugin there.

I think that this backup is perfect for anyone who is starting out or is happy enough with its composition and have questions relating to its setup..
However I dont´t think it´s right that users hijack the thread for other purposes rather than starting out their own threads..

Hope it is ok to post here re the above addon. I have tried to install it in kodi 14.0 running on windows 7 64bit but get a dependencies not met message. Looking in the kodi.log I see .....

If you want kodi for windows you need to go to the kodi forum for windows...
Hasbahca can then be added on I imagine although I havent tried it myself in windows.
I do have it in linux e2 boxes.
make sure your box has got that IP assigned or are you using DHCP ?
in that case you need ot search for the IP.. DCC is a good way to find it.
I only mention it as you could be trying to connect to some other device..

when you write "live tv streaming" are you referring to from your own server? or one of the many addon repositories??
Have you enabled the addon ? have you got it mapped to the right source?

What epg problem???? Have you set up crossepg for your needs? have you setup cooltvguide?
I have installed this backup and don´t have any problems with any plugins,settings, etc.
Try changing to default skin and see if it continues to crash.
you could try this catseye for 28º but I´m sure he´s due to post a new one soon..
