you could but it wont overwrite whatever you have in there already...
in fact what I have already given you is the easiest way ,,but the best way is for you to learn to do things yourself so....
use dreambox edit to transfer Catseye E2 Settings File 28.2 East 22.12.2014.rar to your box.
how to do it?
download the catseye rar file on to your desktop.
OPen dreambox edit,set it up to communicate with your e2 box.
follow the Tutorial - How to use DreamboxEdit
reboot box afterwards and job done..

If you install our addons plugin on to your box then you can access/download/install at once..
[DOWNLOAD] Linuxsat-Support-Addons
you can also FTP over to var/volatile/temp ( not sure of your box but most are) the IPK then TELNET:

opkg install /tmp/*.ipk

As you haven´t stated whether it was for motor or fixed dish I have uploaded both..

Go and get yourself a subscription card that is shareable if that´s what your main aim is...
as you say you have an e2 box you can then use that as a server to serve to the amiko client only box.
You haven´t mentioned which e2 box nor image, version you are using...
Lines go into CCcam.cfig as you state,but this goes into /etc folder not usr/keys

Are both boxes connected via LAN ??
I found this to be the case with DUO2 LAN and UNO on wifi extender.
Duo2 was on BH214 + CCcam2.3.0 while UNO was on BH210 + CCcam 2.2.1..
I then switched both boxes over to use OScam and got a different result but in my case not better.
Of course this was internal sharing, not external.
I would look closer at the mates set up also....

you´ll find the latest VIX IMAGE HERE for DUO2..
But remember to save all your own personal configs before you change image as I don´t think a personal backup will work on new image..

But ,, if you have our addons installed then simply download/install from there..
I know its obvious but have to ask ..¿ have you looked for it in skins option on your box??
When I say manually, I mean literally FTP the /usr folder to /usr on your box..not by telnet..

Have you tried to 7zip the ipk to open it and manually install in the relevant folder, usually /usr..

Very strange...Would be worth noting that an image update would do the box (and your head) good ..

In long , try presssing the 0 a couple of times see if it changes

Only you can decide that buddy....
Nobody else can or would tell you which as its a personal choice based on experience, etc...
If you have BH in flash now then make a full backup, you will find the made backup in media/usb or media/hdd depending on the way you have it set up.
FTP the backup to your desktop for safe keeping.
Then install vix on and try it out...
Once you have everything as you like it then make a full backup of that too.
This way you can flash the box in a matter of minutes with whichever you wish..
But only you can decide which image/version etc you like..

Have you setup KODI yet??
Have you tried download the repos from our addons??

No buddy,, it wasn´t that simple... in oscam or any other emulator you need to either put your local card configuration or a line from another server...
It will be the same in any e2 box..
oscam, like CCcam etc, is only an emulator to be able to read the card..

Have you read up about the older cards being paired to a box ? and also take a look at the threads about the new red card...

Glad to hear it bud ,,but as you stated that you had a lot of experience flashing and this point was made to you in several posts..
WOW--54 posts just to flash a vu+... whatever next....
anyhows good to hear a positive outcome,, thread closed..

to view any UK/Ire ppv channels you need either a subscription card or a friend who is willing to share with you as long as you have a subscription card for another platform that they might be interested in..
You will need to use oscam or the like for uk ,although saying that,,the cards are now changing and so far it´s impossible to share with..
Read up some more about it before you commit yourself..

It´s a pity if you are stuck with it because you will miss all the support we could give.
One thing is if you do read up about Vu+ boxes,images, plugins ,etc then you will learn how to do things yourself for when you do get an original box.
