    Which files? for what purpose??
    you mention a red X from your nline server, which I presume means its not connecting...then you need to ask the peer...

    If you know your new address and when, and find out what if any,
    isp provider is already installed then can you not simply ask them to switch it on for you the day you enter??
    Using the phone as a hotspot on 3g is total lag on SD and consumes very rapid so not worth it..
    Push comes to shove : 2/3 weeks without tv is a godsend sometimes( in some cases even saves marriages)

    More than likely the feeds server is down for maintanence or the like..
    Could also be that you already have the latest and there´s nothing new..
    Is the box running and connecting to the net OK ??
    There´s usually a network test run somewhere in image menus..
    Full restart the box and check..
    That´s all that comes to mind buddy..

    you need to read the experiences of others´and try things out yourself.

    The new version of firmware FBOX 2 is primarily a media player Kodi updated to the latest stable version 14.0 Helix. The changes introduced in this version of the player are really big and we are pleased the mostly heavily improved scanning algorithms library. Everything happens much faster now also available for the media on the remote resource. A detailed discussion of the changes can be found on the website developers.


    With no less significant changes, which we introduced in this update, it is worth mentioning:


    Improving liquidity play - another FBOX 2 software optimizations have significantly improved the liquidity of media playback high bitrate. Please remember to connect the cable to FBOX 2 switch / router so as to provide adequate data throughput on the network.

    Note: For some video you may need to disable the hardware acceleration settings Kodiego implemented by the library MediaCodec. In the case of irregularities in video playback, please turn it off.     Note: FBOX 2 has a pre-installed application TVN player version 2.5.4 which works fine. However, after logging in to your Google Account can be automatic upgrade to a higher version, in which some materials are not displayed. Work is underway on the application developers with a new version that will solve this problem. We recommend that you temporarily disable this application update your account settings in the Google Play store before updating the software.

    Eliminate such leeches,PM them to please do the same ..
    some will comply , others won´t so in that case you start afresh with setting up a new dns and only keep/search/find what you want/need.
    As you say , you are new to all this so clean up and catch up ..
    steer clear of any sites with scumbag servers....
    first do some homework and check out whoever you would like to share with..
    This is constructive criticism not a knock at you buddy...

    Why the need to stream two channels at once??
    It doesn´t matter where the origin of the server is,,, either works perfectly well on ipad..
    Although dreambox live is a little superior ,,no hd channels are viewable on either.
    DreamBox-Live-v1.4.1. and/or Vu+ Player-v1.4.0 which are both available in vip section.

    If you are behind the dish then 0.8w is slighlty facing rightside of south..
    you also have to consider the difference of magnetic north to true north is a difference of 2.8 something degrees..
    to set mine up I set motor to 0º with dish aligned to this then slightly move motor and dish as one piece until get strongest signal which is ever so slight...
    in fact you cant even see the difference from 0º..
    If no channels are showing ,as lacierva suggested ,install a ready made settings list..
    try this IPK... restart box after installing

    there are many platforms on 0.8w so you need to set up your epg to whichever platform and have the dish sitting on one of those channels.

    Until you set up your epg then send the dish to recieve the epg signal from that sat.... but thats where it gets complicated...
