    Cannot see anything to do..
moffi is giving his opinion, nothing else.

I get slagged every time it freezes and asked to pay sky the full price which i couldnt bring myself to do,

First thing I would do after revising all possible hardware/setup tweaks would be to simply change the C lines received: change user and password, for example.
Strangely enough I have experienced this first hand which did make a difference..
Another suggestion would be to show the MIssus exactly how much the house would be out of pocket every month paying full package
and then notice how "she" won´t complain as much....

I have used BH images and apart from the odd hiccough, I think they are as good if not better than some other efforts.
Every image has its highs and lows, you will soon realize this once you have tried a few...

    Prove it !!!!
I along with other members had looked into building our own image some years back but the idea was daunting,
perhaps with today´s tools and know-how, we could have a good go at it,,
but to put so much time and effort and sleepless nights into something that is taken for granted then being tarnished negatively is just not worth the effort.
Most team developers have Beta testers before a release.

Don´t confuse OpenBlackhole with BLack hole original image....
I don´t see the point of expressing an opinion without backing it up giving details.
Don´t get me wrong ,you are free to express your opinion but you need to give your side of the argument which you have not.
On another note, please refrain from using sms style writing, this is a forum where we use the English language as universal
for the benefits of all users, but native and non-native English language users alike, I include myself,
find it hard to understand what is being written and therefore get lost in translation leading to a misunderstanding.

Perhaps the server is down for maintenance..
You can download/install plugins from our addons panel too !!!

I would suggest trying out a ready made backup setup image first.
You can try out the plugins, etc that are usually included.
This way you get a quicker ,better feel your way round the box..
For example , this backup made by team member [MENTION=68236]codar[/MENTION] :OpenVix 4.1.016 solo2 backup
Although it is vix , I don´t think you will regret trying it out as it only takes a few minutes to load onto the box.

You will need to add your own personal IP, card configuration and perhaps update the channel list.

I have an older version of this backup by Master G. I have tweeked a few things, so I don't want to do a fresh install. A lot of the addons have stopped working on kodi. So I wanted to update the image. If I updgrad the image will it clear all my settings? Also, when I try to do an online update, it says there is nothing available? Anyone have any ideas? I'm happy with the image I have. I just want the addons to work on kodi as mine is only 16 not 16.1. I'm not even sure if that would fix the issue. Any help appreciated

Can´t speak about enigma or arm as I have just tested what you describe on the pc w7.
I have downloaded the .exe and installed 17 beta.
it autoinstalled and respected all my personal addons.
I don´t bother with kodi on the DUO2....

    Code
    opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

    Pulsa OK
si el deco no rebootea solo, tendrás que hacerlo manual..
