Ok! So oscam is a card reader protocol? If i don't use any card i don't need oscam?
If you´re not thinking of using a card then what are you thinking of buddy??
It´s next to impossible to get a share from another peer without sharing your card too!!

We are not strangers just friends that haven´t met yet simply because you haven´t bothered to pass by INTRODUCTIONS to present yourelf...(probably haven´t read the rules yet either)
Don´t think there is a limit in enigma boxes.. but would imagine the more you store the more confusing to list it gets....
for example between sat/DTT/iptv I have filtered down to about 7000 which is more than I really use daily....
check your portforwarding in router whichever port you use...
make sure you´ve got the box IP correct
restart router -> restart stb...
look in SERVERS to tell you if you are connected and recieving from your peers
Look in CLIENTS to tell if you are connected and giving to your peers.
CCcam_ChannelInfo_04.08.2014
Tried it mate 7.6 beta same problem and i dont have xbmc.
i only reflashed my box yesterday and just added ABM ,crossepg .ts media and ccam i did change skin tho using the my novum HD with the weather plugin ?
so go back to default skin, restart box and see if it makes a difference..
hellow . your problem is very common on dreambox. You must simply change your power cord. You know the cord that gives power to the dreambox.
I had the same problem and i flashed it about 4 times till someone told me what to do.
How is that going to open ppv channels buddy???
The box turns on, shows image but doesn´t open the ppv channels, that´s all...
try out the latest 7.6 beta ...
if you have xbmc plugin loaded it might be giving conflicts too...
you already know that use of emulators depends on which card you use buddy...
you also know that it makes sense to be up to date with latest drivers ,etc for incompatibilities with plugins etc..
Think it might be time for an image upgrade too buddy.....
as I understand that there´s no continued support for older images..
in e2 images you will find it in etc/CCcam.cfg not var/etc which is for e1 images.
Which card are you trying to use? you need to add your personal details to the configuration...
not all cards can be read by CCcam alone,,oscam and CCcam is an excellent option..
there is no other way buddy..
if you want to watch ppv tv then you need to take out a subscription..
I would read the rules again buddy to be clear about everything.....
hmm, with the new kernel changes,,, it may need updating..
have you tried to add the dll in lib as intructed in http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=3553
well, usually one peer ( you ) has one card and wants to share with another peer with another card ,that way both of you can enjoy both cards.
So you need to find somebody who is in/on your side of the world and willing to share with you...
I would imagine though that it will be next to impossible because most nagravision cards are next to impossible to share...
By explaining this I am in no way condoning the use of cardsharing as it may be a criminal offence ( or not in your country)
in post # 5
Quoteit is free to air
Look above the CCcam 2.2.1...
it shows N which means you are trying to open a subscription channel ( encrypetd Nagravision) which is not going to open if you only wanted FTA as you wrote in your post #5...
If you want to view this channel then you need an uptodate subscription card or a shared line from a friend/peer.
Of course , if you are still on a very old image , i.e. BH 179 it is more than likely in var/tmp
But you really should use an up to date image ( current is bh 2.1.1 ) otherwise not all new plugins/addons are compatible with older drivers etc...
use the searchbar top right buddy..
write hte keyword to what you are looking for, i.e: best image for nbox, fully loaded image although you will notice that there are other images since then ,etc...
reading is the key before you brick it bud...
Preparation and installation of firmware to USB - step by step
There´s no better way than to try doing it yourself buddy..it´s the best learning of all,not to mention that it is the fun part of this...
wait! did i say i will buy a clone nah still looking guys i was hoping for a box that works for sat and cable
Again check out the sponsors site as first port of call,, there are probably cheaper stbs capable of what you are looking for..
QuoteI used to enjoy coming to linuxsat-support and id help people in any way i could! Then we started getting not so nice people here hence why i have not been as active as i used to be!
Very sorry to hear you feel that way buddy... This has been my home for a good while now and I take it as it comes..
The simple nature of a forum is where there is a vast diversity of human nature..
But the site cannot survive on us sharing our experiences alone... as you wrote ..![]()
Linuxsat-support DO support clones! Clone Dreambox's!
Sorry but it p*ssed me off! There is a little thing called tact! Learn what it is and start using it!
Sorry cazuela! This site is becoming more and more like als*t! People like lacierva need to shut there mouth if they have nothing useful to say!
It is quite understandable that everyone would have a different point of view ,perhaps some are less tactful than others.. perhaps its the weather, lacierva is referring to VU clones as he wrote it,,,,
nonetheless to keep this site going and the ever increasing costs of maintaining it we have a sponsor and this is one of the conditions we agreed to.
It is a sad fact that there are more clones of clones of clones,, but this condition in our agreement must be respected.
Apart from being sidetracked ,the original poster has asked for " brand new" but not willing to pay the price...
so please lets keep the peace as there are enough out there biting at each others´ heels...
:peace:
This is what bugs me! This forum is all for clone DREAMBOX's but mention a clone Vu+ and you get grief! In the long run even original Vu+ receivers are in a way clones! They use enigma2 that was developed for the Dreambox range of receivers! I understand the forum sponsor sells ORIGINAL Vu+ but that does not mean that we have to buy from him! If you want to buy a clone mate! Go for it! Forget what everybody says! In long run it comes down to what you want and what you can afford!
Due to our current sponsorship terms and conditions we don`t offer support for Cloned Vu+ receivers.
