If you paired to a pace sd box you wont be paying for hd on your next bill that would have stopped and a proportional charge would be taken for the time you had hd , this would be impossible on the billing .Only way youll get hd is have an hd box

if he has a full HD subscription pack with an extra multiroom box and is using 1 card in its original box and 1 in the server (which only recieves sd) then the price will stay the same for the whole package.

also iv'e read that if you repair a card in an old sd box you only recieve sd channels.

you will also find that you cannot pair a card to the old boxes inc thomsons automatically online. when you put the details in they refuse to do it automatically but you can still do it through the online assistant.

firstly thatfellow can I thank you for a great tutorial, as a complete novice on Linux I have managed to get everything up and running with the minimum of fuss, which I wouldn't have thought possible a few months ago.
the only problem I have is when I first set everything up the following morning (I assume after the 4am reboot) only internal clients are connected, if I reboot the router all the clients connect immediately. then after about 3-4 days the server will do this more and more throughout the day to the point where I have to reboot the router several times a day to reconnect external clients. I am using Ubuntu 12.04 32bit with an omnikey reader. I have tried this on 2 different laptops and the same thing happens on both. any advise would be gratefully appreciated

Ok thanks ten, the one I have working now is using the Gemini 4.7, with all the ports as default to the image, if I use the same image on the next box do I change the ports in the cccam config 12000, 16001, 10001 to different ports and do I need a separate dyndns address

yay, thanks digi, that firmware is spot on, all up and running, all what was needed was was the D15_wifi_101p.rar, once that was loaded i could use all my old blade files eg: channel cndf, cline txt. then press the green button to access and alter cccam/newcmd. so far the box seems spot on, will give an update when iv'e used it for a while, thanks again digi247

hi thatfellow, thanks for your help and patience, the logs are below.

hi ten, thanks for your help, i tried as you say but there's not much difference ive copied the logs below, also it won't connect to my box if i follow your instructions-

Your cline in your box should be this going by your posted configs,
    C: lan_ip_of_server 12000 cccam cccam

but it was connected ok with my previous line ( i reverted to for the log below) which was C: lan_ip_of_server 12000 share10 bedroom10

does anybody have a full cccam oscam configs for slyuk that is working with this automated install on a 32-bit system. ive been trying to get this working for a long time and can't seem to get it working, iv'e tried numerous configs fom this site and other sites, ive spent months reading and trying different installs and don't want to give up now as this is the closest iv'e been.
the configs i have now seem to be the closest with the channels showing in cccam but none are clearing, but i think it would be best to use configs that someone has working on this install without any problems, ive included my current configs and logs, any help would be a godsend, ive'e just spent another 8 hours solid without getting anywhere and getting so close to calling it a day :-(

hi thanks for the replies and help, i already had the d15_101.stb which was straght forward to find i have the box working on freeview but with this firmware there is nowhere to put clines, i have tried drfox's, Module_002p-cccam-newcamd, but it comes up with the message "don;t power off the stb.insufficient memory"
digi247 i was told this was a fantastic box thats why i was persuaded to buy it, but there's very little info on these anywhere

hi, i just bought a Dr.HD D15 box, iv'e been reading everywhere and cannot seem to find any firmware downloads or insructions, does anybody have one of these or any info, thanks

hi, can i say a big thanks to thatfellow for the tutorial, i have virtually zero knowledge of linux but with the help of your tutorial and a few late nights i am nearly up and running.
the only problem i had on the install was that my router wouldn't seem to hold onto a static ip for my pc, so i set the static ip in ubuntu, after i did this i wasn't able to log into ubuntu with putty or winscp, i overcame this by reinstalling ssh "sudo apt-get install openssh-server openssh-client ", and then everything was fine (hope this helps as i've seen a few posts about this problem)
as i said i'm nearly there, i have a smargo reader and s**y uk card, you will have to excuse my ignorance but to get this all working with oscam/cccam do i copy and paste a s**y uk working config into the relevant oscam.conf, oscam.server, oscam.user and then reboot the server.
if so i have done this and added an internal line in cccam which now connects to an internal box but the s*y sub channels aren't clearing, any help would be appreciated

hi there, i'm a total newbie to linux etc, but i was impressed with your tutorial, i followed it to the letter but recieved an error message at the end can you please advise what this is, thanks in advance
