I found this oscam - emu with static libcrypto. Work on all images. Try with this.
Replace this oscam with your oscam, and change attributes to 755. Restart the box.
This is the biggest oscam I ever met. Unzipped 2,48 MB big :) I will try out. It works :) Where did you get this one from? It is biggr than the original I download from the feeds, these are 1,7 MB
I do not understand now , where is the problem. Here you wrote that oscam work. Does a oscam succesfully installed or not?
Your "big" oscam works. The oscam from the feed also works. The (I think compressed) oscam 11507 works. The (I think compressed) oscam above the version 11507 does not work. I can leaf it that way and stay on 11507 or the one from the feed but I want to know why the other oscams above the 11507 does not work???
Do you understand me now?

This image is made for dreambox dm800se clone.
-
So, please give me the right chewed out commands?
And does it matter wich oscam is in the dm800se? Working one or not working one?

Oscam size is bigger because has inside all the function of libcrypto, and is indepedent from libcrypto in your receiver.
I dont know if you must have libcrypto v. 0.9.8 in your image. Check again in telnet if this version missed.
If you must install libcrypto v.0.9.8 , here is in attach. I have also DM800se ( original ), and BH image , and I not have problem with
libcrypto. I have both libcrypto in image.
Perhaps you have seen what a mess I made with telnet commands. My knowledge is not that good. I am loyal at one side and when this site is gone I am looking for a new one. The same with a site to get the right channel list or oscam. Stay on the same site and most of the time when a problem pops up they have the solution. Like this time.
I use PLI images for many many years and get to know them a bit. Telnet in DCC I use for to give reboot :) That is my knowledge.
So, for me this is strange because the PLI 7 image I use from this forum, I use this image a long time now and I download many times the oscam binary whom is about 500 to 600 KB. After a while I check the oscam binary for newer versions and put them in the box untill my post here about not working from 11507.
Image is not changed! Still the same. Oscam is changed? Yes, other version but not working. That`s why my question in the opening post.
I try to do what people are saying to me with telnet commands but when I have to fill in my self and it is the first time to do this it probably go wrong.
So, please give me the right chewed out commands?

Flash image again for starters?

Oh God ... you ruined it well. If you have Skype and if you believe me, write me then, give me the TeamViewer access and look at it.
I told you that the correct syntax for linking is as follows: ln -sf <file-to-disk> <virtual-symbolic-link> One of the two seems to be incorrectly linked (the one showing the sym-link with the entire directory).
After typing the command ls -al /usr/lib/libssl* into Shell you should get this:
Codelrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 Jun 16 17:04 /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8 -> libssl.so.1.0.2 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 May 12 05:03 /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0 -> libssl.so.1.0.2 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 359072 Feb 24 14:59 /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.2
I recommend updating the entire OpenPLi-7 Enigma via the GUI MENU.
I hope you update libssl module for your Enigma and overwrite the one you have from nowhere.
P.S.:
That's why MasterG sent you a libssl module because he thought you didn't have any module in your Enigma. You can uninstall the libssl (if possible and if it is not part of OpenPLi) with the helping of opkg manager. In my opinion, you replace the installed 0.9.8 with a sym-link :). Because after installing 0.9.8, you had both versions 0.9.8 and 1.0.2. But now I see on your screehshots only 1.0.2 in green and still broken link for 0.9.8 (probably the original library what you installed before).
Give me baby steps to get this right?

I have clone boxes with sim2 images. Is it possible to update? If it is possible than I will try first myself. Maby I learn something, because I am a noob with unix shit.
What must I do to update enigma?

50700dd.jpge45252e329f851c.jpgf75f6e7f879.jpgI have now libssl.so.0.9.8 because I installed it with the ipk from masterG. Before this I had libssl.so.1.0.2
-
I tried these commands but is does not mean anyyhing to me. I don`t know what to do with it?
I tried this; opkg update && opkg list | grep libssl
I tried this: opkg install <libssl_package_name> Can`t open libssl 1.0.2 no such file
-
OpenPLi-7 and also OpenATV-6.3 contains the current version of libssl 1.0.2, so this linking will work: Code
cd /usr/lib
ln -s libssl.so.1.0.2 libssl.so.0.9.8
ln -s libssl.so.1.0.2 libssl.so.1.0.0(sorry, in the previous post I put the order of arguments on the contrary: the correct first argument represents a physical file on disk + the second argument represents a symbolic link)
I have PLI 7 image and in usr/lib is libssl.so.1.02
-
Code
opkg update
opkg list | grep oscam
opkg install <package_name>Then upload all configuration files for Oscam and reboot the set-top box. If necessary, just override the "/usr/bin/oscam" binary file designed for your Dreambox device (mipsel chipset) and designed primarily for OpenPLi needs that can be found everywhere on the Internet.
This is what I normally do:
Install image
setup image
install flash expander because image is about 60MB
put in custom channel list
Install oscam via feed
put my oscam files in it
reboot and check if everything works
than I take the pached oscam file en copy to usr/bin
rename older file to oscam_original
rename patched file to oscam and give 0755 attributes
reboot and everything is working
patched oscam file is smaler than the original oscam file, that is why I do this.
There was a site http://oscam.dreamosat.net I get these oscam files from but is no more online. So i take de oscam files from this site and they worked everytime till above this version: oscam-svn11507-794-dreambox_fpu-webif-oscam-emu-patched
And they are not working on 2 dm800se, dm800seV2 and dm800hd all with PLI based images. Doing this for many, many years now.

BTW I am running this image from this forum: https://www.linuxsat-support.c…229-sim2-sssl84d-nfi-zip/

I had the same with installing oscam. It was a few days gone. I installed a oscam all images from this forum. Perhaps there is one for cccam.

All these problems are often caused by the old version of Enigma. Your OpenPLi is probably a very old version that no longer contains current libraries. You are trying to install a new Oscam, which unfortunately requires the most commonly used libraries, which are already included in all current Enigma distributions.
- you can try Enigma package manager:
opkg update && opkg list | grep libssl
- then find the libssl library in displayed list, and install the newest library:
opkg install <libssl_package_name>
- libssl is also part of the OpenSSL package - so it would be perfect to update this package, of course, only if your old version of Enigma can still update online from the feed... unfortunately, the very old versions of Enigma are no longer supported
- if there is no libusb library for your Enigma on the feed server, you can also to try create a symbolic link to another version of libssl on your set-top box:
ls -al /usr/lib/libssl*
- the green ink color means the library module / the cyan ink color (with the arrow) means a symbolic link
- create a symbolic link to the newer (or older) libssl (caution - backward compatibility with another libusb may not be 100%):
ln -s /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8 /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.2
(symbolic link >>> real file)
- if the symbolic link to libssl 1.0.2 does not work, so there is no 1.0.2 version but another version of libssl
- or another one example (sym-link to older libssl):
ln -s /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8 /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.8.5
No succes either, see telnet.
-
I will try the oscam commands looking for faults.
Install the ipk then try oscam
If you still get the same error looking for libssl run this command ln -sf /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8
Does not work. I get error. Can not install. Don`t ask again to install . And that command is doing nothing ln -sf /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8
-
Go to applications
push green button and wait
choose cams
choose cccam
install and reboot
some times and mostly in the weekends the feeds are gone

Hey there, can anyone help me ?? i started with the dm800hd se second hand and it had openpli3 on it from gjstroom. now i had updated that to openpli 4 and now 7 over about 5 years of use.
It seems that the box remembers all the plugins that i had ever installed, because now i reinstalled openpli7 after some troubles and it asked me if i would like to restore settings. now i see crap that i tought i deleted come by and keep getting "no space left on device".
how can i do a clean install ?? ( i have backups from my bouquets and cam settings on my laptop)

I will try another oscam and check again if the same fault persists.
With another oscam, I get another fault. That sucks!
