    1) open the plugin
    2) press green (A-Z)
    3) choose your letter and press ok
    4) when a list of tv series beginning with that letter shows, press channel + (this will move you over to the right to be able to scroll down the tv shows available for that letter)
    5) move down this list using the down button or the left and right buttons to move in increments of ten
    6) highlight your chosen series that has the english flag next to it and press ok,its then added to favs
    7) repeat until you have all your desired series in favs
    8) press the epg/info button to update to latest episodes available
    9) after all the episodes have updated highlight your chosen series and press ok
    10) select the episode you wish to watch and press ok
    11) select your chosen host and press ok
    12) enjoy your episode

I cant make it any clearer than that, but honestly this is not rocket science lol

    Ian.

how long is a piece of string ? lol

time is the enemy, and much of my free time is spent on private projects with other members of our team.

for now just enjoy it whilst its working.

    Ian.

    forgot to mention

with this plugin if you press the epg/info button whilst on the favs page it will update all your favs episodes telling you exactly how many new ones have been added since your last update.

    here you go guys.

I still consider this to be the best stand alone TV Series Streamer out there,so ive just edited it all and fixed it for UK users bypassing the UK ISP blocks of Movie4k.to using a private proxy.

send to your root plugin folder and channel mod to 755 and the contents to 644 and then restart enigma2

    Enjoy

    and

    Merry Christmas to all.

    Ian.

ps to move from the A-Z list to the series list to add to favs ive edited it to use the channel + and - buttons

much better now than the original way.

    Movie2k Series Streamer fixed Support

this version includes a proxy that is private and is supposed to be unmetered,so it shouldnt log the amount of redirects and then suspend the proxy for a time.

but remember guys, you are also having to contend with the new primewire i an human honestly captcha too.

this is to prevent bots and our boxes are the bots,so until code is written and added to overcome this captcha, you will find that sometimes the plugin doesnt work.the captcha is introduced by the primewire site, when too many connections are made from a single address, but using different ip's

this is exactly what happens when everyones using a proxy to connect.you cant blame the site, because to the site it looks exactly like a ddos attack,so its only protecting itself.
the upside to this though,is the captcha,so far at least is only introduced for a relatively short time, probably about 10mins.

so if you find the plugin doesnt work, the chances are that if you try again in 5-10 mins time it probably will work for you again.

    Ian.

i cant help it yummer im sorry.

subix wishes the plugin to remain closed source.i cannot go against his wishes and decompile the plugin and the openly post the plugin.py file for all to edit and use.

if someone with loads of dosh wishes to pay for a premium proxy for everyone to use then if they sent me a pm with that proxy i would add it and everyone could then be happy.

but this isnt going to happen im afraid.

    Ian.

the plugin is not open source, subix choose to make it that way for reasons of his own.

so because of this you cannot access the files to edit them without first decompiling them.
and teaching people how to decompile is not something i wish to do,simply because if every Tom Dick and Harry can do it,then everything thats now presently written in python will soon be written in C++ instead,so as to protect any closed source material,if this happens, everyone is screwed because you cannot decompile C++

    Ian.

    its all about money.

they want you to pay thats all.to entice you they offer a free service, but this free service has limitations and only allows a certain amount of redirects in a certain time frame.go over that, and the proxy will be suspended.once the requests for redirection cease, the suspension is lifted.

so one or two users of a proxy will be fine, but when its added to a plugin that hundreds are using you will incur a suspension.

of course if someone paid for the premium proxy, then this wouldn't be a problem.but who's going to do that ? lol.

    Ian.

you guys really are missing the point here.

the occupy proxy that Inspiral is using has started to work again simply because its not been used by anyone in several days.

its not the fault of the hosting sites really as they have to protect themselves, and whats happening is because all the different ip's connecting to the header makes the sites bot protection think its under DDOS attack so its throwing up an i am human honestly captcha.

because the stand alone 1channel plugin doesnt have the code in it to confirm that its human, simply because its never written because at the time of concept,it wasnt needed, the proxy is being suspended after a certain amount of redirects in an as yet unknown time period.

once all the different ip's stop trying to connect the suspension is lifted and the proxy will work once more.

the only way to avoid this is for each individual to create and add their own private proxy to the 1channel plugin,or to write the code into the plugin to continue past the bot check captcha.

until either of these are done by the user, then the plugin will never remain working over a sustained period.

so in short the more that use the proxy inside the plugin the less time it will work for.

    simples.

    Ian.

    nice one.

its usually always something simple like that.

try to remember the order of things.

a py file is human readable code and it is what plugins are written in.when the box boots up it needs to convert the human readable code into machine code so that its able to read and use any files.these are pyo or pyc files.

but the order of things is always human before machine,so if you have py files in the plugin folder then the box will always use these and convert these into pyo files for itself to use.it considers any py file to be newer than any existing pyo files.

this is fine, until the author of a plugin decides to make it closed source and only releases pyo files because any existing py files will always take precedence over the newer pyo files.

    do you understand ?

    Ian.

    im afraid you are correct.

the plugin requires completely re writing.

    inspiral

are you absolutely sure you have the very last pyo file containing the last proxy ?
the behaviour of the plugin on your screen suggests that you do not.it does what you are seeing when the primewire proxy url is not being used.

    just had a thought.

please check for any py files that you may have in the plugin folder and remove them.a py always overwrites any pyo file,so you could be restarting with the new pyo only to have it overwritten with old code from the py file.

    Ian.

    quite possibly.

what exactly is it doing ?
is it crashing ? if so post the log
is it just hanging ? perhaps a memory issue
does the tsmedia fix work for you using this proxy ?

try to explain as much as your able as to what is happening for you.

    Ian.

Ian, Iv never worked on plugins but will give a try tonight, i'l use your instructions and my friend google. See if i can get it working.

    that's the spirit !

but anyway ive done it for those who cannot wait.the only problem is that also adding the same working public proxy to another plugin increases its usage and so increases the chances of them limiting the re directions again.it probably would have been more prudent to add a different public proxy to the tsmedia plugin.

    we shall see.

no idea how long it will last.

use the same instructions as with the previous update.

    Ian.

i would completely remove 1channel then restart then send it over again making sure you overwrite the existing plugin.pyo file with the very last one i posted in this thread.

the fact that the proxy is working for you on the pc and that 1channel is still working here on my box whilst using that proxy suggests another problem with your 1channel plugin.

    Ian.

mine is working after the plugin.py file you give us but sadly the tsmedia is a no go

because ive not done that yet.

very little point if the public proxies are limiting the amount of re directions allowed.i was waiting to see how long the last one worked for and if it was still working in a day or two i would then add it to the tsmedia py file.

nothing stopping you from doing it yourself now though.
you have the proxy above and you have the file location in tsmedia,so just send it to your pc and edit it accordingly, then send it back and restart enigma2
