still working here with the very last update i posted last night.

to be honest though i think we are flogging a dead horse here and the only true way forward is private proxies.

    Ian.

Ian, if you can give us a tutorial on how to make our own proxy that will be great. it will certainly help us noobies sort issues ourselves rather than bothering you guys.

i can,but you do also need to know how to decompile your 1channel plugin.pyo file too, then if i remember correctly, edit 43 lines of code containing all of 1channels url's with your new proxy url.

if you know what you are doing you can actually get away with changing just 3 as the enigma2 version only needs the first page to be proxied, because once on the site the other pages will open using the original primewire.ag url. your ISP is only blocking access you see,and once you are there, there's sod all they can do.but i think its easier for a novice to edit all lines of code rather than selecting just 3 out of 43,when youve no idea which 3 to select.

dont worry it sounds hard, but in a good python text editor it can all be done in one go using the replace option and takes no longer that 10 seconds.

but you do need a basic knowledge of python and also decompiling python to do this,so its not really for newbies.but im sure the mods on here could do this and create several working proxies for users of this site.

    let me know.

    Ian.

looks like a private proxy maybe the only way forward im afraid.

these public proxy's are now limiting redirection to just 20 redirects in a certain as yet unknown time period,so all using the new proxy will find that one channel is once again not working for them.

but my private one is still working fine.

maybe we will be able to source a less restrictive proxy tomorrow, but this new problem is a real blow and basically puts a stop to the usage of all public proxy's.

    Ian.

basically you create one online thats personal to you or whoever you choose to give it to,that redirects to the letmewatchthis or primewire websites.because you are first going to the proxy before it then redirects, your ISP is none the wiser and because it will never be public, they will never get wind of it and then block it.you do have to remember to login into it though once a month, but its also easy to setup a schedule on your pc to do this automatically for you,in case you forget.think of it like your dns when using C/S

after youve done this you then edit the code within your version of the 1channel plugin to use the private proxy's url instead of the public one that its presently using.

job done.takes about 10mins in total.

    Ian.

the fix is only for 2.7 buddy, your probably using 2.6 ?

    reboot then press menu/plugins

does it complain about bad magic number ? if yes your running 2.6

i give this latest public proxy fix 3-4 weeks tops before they block it again, you guys really should create and add your own private proxy, then it will never be blocked, mines been running without issue for about 2yrs now.

does anyone want the tsmedia 1channel fix with this public proxy added to that too ?

    Ian.

after further thought i just tried to delete my post because i simply dont want yet another row with this guy,so i think its best to just ignore him,but i cannot delete it,so could a mod perhaps delete it for me please ?

its simply not worth the trouble answering any of his posts ever.

    Ian.

because the guy is a fool who cant even spell his own login name correctly.

everyone knows all he does is cause trouble and simply just comes on forums to stir things up.
everyone also secretly laughs at him,but hes too stupid to know this.i simply ignore all posts from him these days,he does help some newbies with his knowledge, but other than that he knows very little.take DRM for instance,he states that it cant be added to python to get the channel 5 ondemand, well let me tell you this is rubbish and it can easily be added if someone was willing to do so.

my advice to all is to take no notice of this muppet, but of course the choice is yours and you dont have to take my advice.

of course hes now going to answer this and try to start yet another argument because this is what he does.

the man is a fool simple as.

    Ian.

ten you say the premium channels dont work as you need to login on the website,i pressume this means the jsc sports channels ?

if so can you not ask the author to simply add the login code to the plugin, and then each user have a file in /etc containing their own personal login details, which the plugin reads when it scrapes that site.its dead easy and only needs about 10 lines of code.

    Ian.

the code is old now and has never been maintained, just patched to get it to run once more.

the plugin needs a complete rewrite like what we have done in our private streamers and what tsmedia have done too.when web sites add mirror url's there are tiny differences in the mirror to the original, its not done intentionally, but they do exist.the python code has to be slightly modified to reflect these changes and its hasnt been.

i took this plugin apart and fixed all of these problems a few months ago after the last site changes, but subix went mad at me on ***pe,so ive left it alone this time and just simply made it work once more and that is all.

i could do these needed fixes, but its simply not my plugin and its down to subix really.

    Ian.

the tsmedia file is a py so will work on both 2.6 and 2.7

but remember after youve restarted enigma2 to delete it and just leave the newly created pyo file, because if you dont your tsmedia wont take any future online updates that the author does for you for the 1channel part of the plugin.

the stand alone 1channel is pyo and ive not posted the py file because subix would hit the roof, and i dont have a box running 1.6 to compile a pyo file for you,but if ten bellow contacts me privately i will give him the py and he can compile a 1.6 version for you and post it.

    Ian.

i dont know if you still are,but i do know that you once did run a CCcam payserver.

i felt that this info was relevant to let people know that there is the possibility that when they help you with your oscam configs, they could be helping a payserver.

people have the right to know this.

why else would i post this information about anyone if it were not true ?

but i do take onboard what brendanj9554 has said and i will leave it at that.members can decide for themselves then.
