I also have the same problem here mate , had a irish registered card full package & setanta , have had it running for a year or so now and I always used it in oscam , when it needed an update I put it in cccam a week or so before entitelments ran out and it always updated no problem , but the last update it got it shows all entitlelments to November but wont open any channels only a few here and there , its like a wrong boxkey in cccam if you get my drift , let me know how you get on and I will keep you posted here on my outcome , problem I got now is that I have misplaced the box it was tied to during a move which had not got the new s/w on it, so I am uo s##t creek at the min without a paddle

Hi i tried to reflash a VU+ solo hd but it seemed to take ages like 30 minutes so powered it off removed the usb stick and now the box fails to boot !

i have tried flashing through serial and network but get a error is there anything else i can try p.s i was using a serial 2 usb adaptor when trying via serial.

flash factory image , light on box will be red until firmware loaded then it will turn flashing green when complete , remove the usb stick from front off the box and power the box off, power it up again and from the menu do a factory reset , then flash again

hi guys , was wondering is there any way to add text support to the vix image , I have read through the forum and from what I can see it is disabled by default , and help would be appreciated

    thx

Activating multi-room 0963 cards requires all cards including the main card connected to the same landline with the cards in official stbs at the time of activation..however as stated sly only randomly check certain accounts via an automated callback..many people have had no issues for years but anyone caught receives a letter/email indicating that their mirror card is not sending a signal back confirming its connected to a landline/account and a service call from an engineer would proceed although an excuse such as decorating usually sorts that as long as a callback is made..however any further checks on the account with the same issue would result in a threatening email/letter advising that any mirror cards not properly connected will be hiked up to the full price of the main card its mirrored from.

Thats certainly how it used to work anyway.

my 2 boxes are connected to the the phone line have been for couple years now but there ain't nothing in them ????????????????????

hi thx for reply , yes i have put the card in the ***box sevral times and all ok on the 2 channels , as i said i get the full package on the card no probs just the boxnation & premier sports dont clear , you say about the ecm length in the ecm whitelist , this i am not sure about , would it help if i post the oscam server/cfg/user files for you to have a look at

    thx peterd

hi people i need help , i have added boxnation & premier sports to my card but can't get them to open , i have tried umteen cfgs from here and other forums over the last week and have read a lot on here as well but to no avail , can someone give me some guidance on what the problem could be , all other channels open with my cfgs setup , nline in the cccam cfg to connect to oscam and i get all other chanels bar these 2 , i use cccam 2.2.1 on ubuntu server with oscam reading the card

    thx peterd

    can someone confirm the following

    i have 2 n*** kappa cards v 5.7 running on CCcam 2.2.1 / ubuntu

since last weekend the cards seem to go blank after 60/80 secs if more than 1 peer connect to it , if i run it for myself its fine ,

i think n*** has gone from 1 sid limit to high ecm demand then it turns off , if anybody has the same problem can they confirm please .

n*** share has gone in my opinion as my 2 unmarried cards were running fine for last 4 months

I see the principle and understanding behind what your trying to do and in some ways it is a good thing to balance out the ecms hitting the cards, it is achievable but very hard to do, let me explain. If i understand correctly you wish to send your peers with hd receivers to the hd card and sd receivers to the sd card. Well the problem here is be it running CCcam or Oscam and even assigning sid's to each card there is no definite way of separating this running from one server as the emu is gonna take it from one card or another (well sd anyways). There are two ways to separating your traffic, one is either you run 2 servers (1 ip address, 2 ports) or 2 seperate servers altogether (seperate ip address for each). 2 servers is the easier option, hd card on one, the other with the sd card, each either have a different port to one dyndns ip address or 2 seperate dyndns address. Then your hd peers will have one ip address and sd peers another. The difficult one is running all from one server, if you look around (haven't seen it on this site, I may be wrong) there is a tutorial for CCcam to run multiple instances, each has its own cfg file and settings. The same can be done with Oscam, With that setup you can have 1 ip address but 2 ports to seperate your traffic, each port going to the 2 cards.

Kind of hard to explain but that best I could do. Hope it helps :P

hi thanks for your reply, i would like to run the 2 cards in 1 server if poss, so the 2 cccam cfgs sounds the route i should go with the different port nos on the same no ip address , would this setup need another instance of cccam running along side the exta confg file or would 1 cccam run the 2 cards , ifso what we looking at really is 2 servers running on 1 , have you a link to the tut mate been searching about this for donkeys

    thx peterd

ok the simple reason is 1 card hd yes the other a multi room card £75 full package vs £10 sd full package , some my shares have sd boxes so i was going to switch them onto this multi room card to try and balance the load on the other hd card if you get my meaning.

    peterd

hi guys , i am running a debian server with smargo reader, what i want to do is add another card , the 2 cards are s*y hd & s*y sd , what i want to do is run the 2 at the same time and load balance them if poss , i have a four port usb hub attached to the server which at present is running the hd card , what settings do i need to alter in the cccam cfg file to achieve this , if someone could post the confg settings it would be most helpfull

    peterd

hi guys recently new to the forum , i was wondering if someone could tell me which cards the smargo reader can read and which cards it can't , i have read that the tring card needs a cam is this correct, i would like to know if i was to purchase a tring card how would i run it in a server and which other cards need a cam

    thanks peterd

yeah they all move a bit but i am right on the clarkebelt so little drop in the signal from 90% to 75-80% in windy conditions will not effect your viewing, the triax dish is very well assembled so you do pay alittle more for the dish but well worth it

Mines attached the same as yours and it's rock solid. It's the LNB arm that wobbles in the high wind, which is why I think a Triax dish will be better as it has a wider LNB arm.
Is there any play in the arm?

hi dish has been up for some time now i have it bolted with rawl bolts to the brickwork so very secure also the mounting pole is a scaffold pole so its very strong ,so far i have had no problems ,do get a little drop on the signal % in windy conditions but nothing to affect the picture

I'd be interested how it copes with high winds too.
I have a budget 90cm abover the roof line and it's rubbish in the wind. I have plans to upgrade to a Triax dish either 88 or 1.1

hi guys new to the forum looks very good and informative anyway this is my first post with my setup
