  • Tutorial : How to install softcam (OSCam/CCCam) manually, if you hate ipk packages

    hello i need help about softcamstartup on vu zero original receivers and dreambox 800hd se original receiver ....

    i got NCAM on all of them latest version installed but it does not autostart

    any config or ipk or what to do to install i tryed already this command

    i copy and paste this but now the ncam does not even like to start at alll even with restart or anything....

    Download the auto-start script from the Internet, set it to run-level, enable execute attributes ...... here is the sequence of commands to the command line (Shell):

    or i need to do something else ??? because i did this and i blocked the ncam now does not want to start all all :)

    Thank you ALOOOOOOOT i tryed the command opkg update && opkg install libcurl4 and it installed on its own

    Also i downloaded the file to have it as backup

    But now i have other problem the NCAM does not start on its own when you restart the box you need to go to softcam and restart the ncam and then it instantly working


    Any solution for this problem ?

    this error im getting on 2 of the vu zero original recivers on latest openpli 8.2 that can be installed from openpli page.

    my bad master G i forgot on that i just found some older version of the ncam and it worked on the 2 other recivers.

    but next time i will post the error.

    enigma2-plugin-softcams-ncam_V11.3-r0_all - i tryed this 1 and it worked on the openpli 8.0 version and and on openpli 8.2 version

    i upload them so if someone have same problem to resolve it fast because i forgot to post errors

    found problem with ncam maybe someone will help me...

    got another 3 vu zero original recivers

    1 of them have 8.1 openpli version i installed ncam without problem on it with the ipk file sayin installed 3 packages without anyproblem

    on seconds does not want to install saying 1 package installed and it does not show it in the softcam menu

    on the third zero he have 8.0 version openpli also does not like to install same error .

    Installed on 1 of them 8.2 version latest openpli available for vu zero does not want to install it again same error.

    its clean image.

    on the 8.2 version i installed back oscam without any problems...


    can someone help me whats the problem why ncam does not want to install....


    on my old original dreambox 800 hd se i reinstalled openpli 4 latest original 15 times on it because i was testing something and i had no problems installing the NCAM over and over again :)

    hello i have question : does ncam work on 1.9 east polaris and neosat also maybe im missing something in my configs i have original dreambox 800hd se

    30 west 0.8 west and some others work without any problem....


    Edit : Found good server and yes its working 1.9 east with NCAM.

    Also i can say that ncam is better then cccam and oscam for me now alll thing said ncam is 10000 times better for now and stable no freezein then oscam or ccccam or mgcamd for me.

    I cannot say things for other pepole but as i tested ncam is the no1 for now

    so i flash the image you send me first like this : i flash the ssl84d then the image Dream-Elite-4.1-dm800se-sim2-FORARAB-20171120.rar everything worked the receiver booted now can i flash your clean original openpli-8.0-sim2-dm800se-20210322-Pgs.nfi.zip without flashing the ssl84d straight tru the browser again ... ?

    hello guys


    cant find the ssl84d for my sim2.10 from where to download it i think i lost it or deleted it by mistake


    1. Turn off the decoder from the switch on the back, in the absence of the latter, unplug the power cable from your Dreambox.

    2. Press and hold the power button on the front panel of your decoder and turn the decoder back on.

    3. Always keep the power button on the front panel pressed until *** STOP *** appears on the display together with the IP address of the decoder (eg 192.168.1.33).

    4. Open your computer browser and enter the above IP address to access the firmware installation page.

    5. At this point click on Firmware upgrade.

    6. Send first the ssl (secondstage) then without closing, go back, and select the firmware to install, once selected click on the Flash button! to proceed with the installation of the new firmware. as soon as finished, do not reboot, and go back


    all of this i understand it but the problem i have is what to do here as soon as finished, do not reboot, and go back

    i know how to enter the firmware installation page i know if i have the file of the ssl i need to flash that first and do just go open new windows and enter the ip again or go back ... and i know that i need to flash the image ...... but after i flash the image do i REBOOT or will i get my clone BRICKD : )

    i do not understand this last words as soon as finished, do not reboot, and go back = where to go back how will i start the box if i do not restart the box...

    i understand the need of me to flash the ssl first then without restarting go back and flash the image but after that ..... i do not understand how i will boot the receiver...
