had the same problem with my sentanta ie only card put back in its box 3 days no updates then went dead had to get the supplier in Ireland to have it re activated

i have 2 problems the first is i am trying to run 2 0963 cards in one Ubuntu server running cccam one is slyuk and one is sentanta ie only i set up like this

when running my sly card only the server crashes twice a day when i check the log it just says card not read and i have to re boot any advice please

is it possible to alow reshare only seleced channels on cccam as i have a friend who has his own 0963 card an i would like to let him have racing uk off mine but no other as i do not want the whole card being reshared i now you can block channels but can you mass block all but one

sly 3 not clearing with 2 diffrent servers on 2 diffrent boxes both dm800s done re scan but channel will not clear cccam 2.13 any on else got problems

carnt knock the ***box f3 for 47 quid of fleebay better picture than by clone dm800 also tm5402 has a very good picture

hi set up cccam with smargo on a ubuntu 10.04 machine no problem and all is well so decided to move on to cccamoscam ie oscam to read the card cccam to share

followed guide and installed no problem but i can not get oscam to recognise my card tried various settings but no luck

had a browse through some post but still do not get it my slow brain but here is my problem

have my white skuk card in a ubuntu server running cccam 2.14 following ten belows top tutorial and all is well for a couple of months then my skuk card goes off i put it back in the sly box and it shows in correct card inserted so after a very nice phone call to a lady india my card is repaird to the box and all is well again
so
i have enabled allow emms for the boxes i have in my house on cccam line manager but the card has not updated i have read that os cam is best but will cccam not handle this as i would like to stay with this as ocam set up looks a bit too hard for me i know it works ok using the dream box as a server with a direct sat connection unlike me server sat in a back room
any advice please

hi the spikes are all day my ecms are between 0.190 and 350 on my second box in the house of my own white s** card it is only a small judder but more stable with dm800 than pc server

Hi have now got it all working Ubuntu server on a p4 3ghz with one gig of ram but I am getting spikes in my ecms with some Freeze and stuttering I get this on both my own card and a share I have been given this stops when I swap servers back to my dm800 not sure where to start I have wired the server into my router and have a good vermin connection so not sure if the problem is my free no ip account or the config of my or smargo any ideas please or tests I can do

now got it working hope it updates the card
the sargo showed us 003 Device 002: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC
but set it to SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyUSB0 smartreader+ after running dmsg command

have set up Ubuntu server with the help of the guide from Ten Below and it working a treat i have a line that i have a re share on and that works fine my dm8oo in another room gets hops 2
when i put my smargo in with my s88 uk card it cc cam will not read it
i have ran the lsusb command and think it is on usb 2 or 3 so have configured cc cam for both but i think i am missing something here are my scripts with a few things edited for obvious reasons
