still not working, even after receiving new emms from sky.
5 unique ones written this afternoon, but still the same. :(
my box is a really old Thompson box that the card is paired too so I can't even check the original card as the box don't work properly.
would it make any difference if I tried to pair to a newer amstrad box I have here?
got same issue
did you need to ring them to re-pair?
or can do it online or something?
afternoon all
does anyone know if the remote of the wetek is usable as a controller for android games?
looking to get an android device for missus' little one, so he can play games and watch movies with xbmc from the nas at home.
not sure which one to get but obviously a controller is needed.
I always said e2 was they way to go with it. With openatv on the case it will soon sorted.:36_002:
atv didnt make that.
The worlds first Enigma2 team to bring you 1920x1080 full HD skin support, are proud to introduce a brand new ViX image for all OpenViX supported receivers
OpenViX Hades is based on the OE-Alliance v3.0 core and requires a full reflash, it is recommended NOT to restore and setup fresh.
So what is different in OpenViX Hades then?
As with OpenViX Helios and Apollo, the main difference is core of the image or the OE (Open Embedded), this has undergone a lot of changes, updates and fixes. As a user you should not notice any differences between OpenViX Apollo and OpenViX Hades. (i.e. there are no real functional differences.)
OpenViX Apollo build 166 will be the final build in the Apollo series, and so Hades takes over the reins.

yes xbmc/gotham (not kodi) is available on the solose, solo2 and duo2, included in most common images no doubt.
which is commonly known as e2bmc
on a duo2, there is only 2 tuner slots, so once you put them 2 cable tuners in, thats it, youd have to use usb tuners to add extra ones.
there is apprantly a twin cable tuner coming, but who knows when. vu announced it last year sometime.
Display MoreLooking for some suggestions on which box to go for.
I'm currently on a Vu+ Duo with Sly freeview but want to move over to Virmin for better HD channel support.
So any box I get needs to have twin cable tuners, with sat tuner(s) optional, and also support for XBMC so I can also stick Kodi on there.
Budget is around £200-£250.
Was considering the Mut@nt, but it's just too pricey when you start adding twin cable tuners.
What would you recommend?
just get the mutant with 2 x cable tuners? it has 4 pluggable tuner slots so you can start off with whichever config you want.
i have 2 dvb-s2 and 2 dvb-c in mine, works a treat.
XBMC/E2 as a standalone os will be available for the mutant soon.
why would any company pick lavatronics as a distributor?

come on, i only want to know the answer to the question, im not trying to get at anyone, i quite fancied the box, just asking about something! :)
yes or no would have done me.
arent they a sponsor here? if so, they should be providing support here, no?
with the banners plastered on the forum youd think there be some ties between wetek and linuxsat, including a support channel, aswell as a sales channel which is already setup here.
lol ok
as i cant seem to get an answer, i'll leave it and assume this box doenst support it.
shame.
thanks but tbh it shouldnt need any of linuxsat users testing it.
the sponsor should know 100% about there own product.
anyone tried this?
cant be too hard to get an answer on this
even from the sponsor.
i thought most people knew that nowadays.
HD Audio = DTS HD MA and Dolby Tru-HD.
make sure it being detected on your amp as the above and its not just passing through the core audio of either track, alot of companies do this and then claim to have dts-hd pasthrough, which is aload of nonsense.
im still none the wiser by that answer,
does it passthrough hd-audio or not? dts-hd/tru-hd etc..
does this wetek box support HD audio passthrough?
service is the channel name
event is the programme name
