    i Installed both in Openvix 6.4 and OBH 5.3. The script method dose not work but may need updating on this images. As per orrigonal post on this thread you may find it easy to install the ipk file, thats what i did.

    I belive under the latest inages thats all you need to do as everything is pre -configuerd.

    You just beed to enter your CS details or oscam.server icam file in folder etc/tubox/configs.


    Im still looking for reliable cs Supplier for testing, untill then that as far i can go

    Is there a diffrence in quality in picture and sound on sly icam service compared to viewing it on IPTV as they are both streams so would assume both would be simiilar depending on providers server and type of box one would use?

    So I should add the files as below looking at the last thread on that post :


    whitelist_streamrelay.sh goes in usr/script


    whitelist_streamrelay.py goes in etc/enigma2


    Then reboot and run ABM as custom region for UK


    Dose all the above apply to SLY Germany and Italy too Assuming I would need to apply the custom region in ABM for those countries

    Its now possible to view Sky Germany, Italia, and UK channels with NCam or OSCam that has an ICam patch along with a custom streamrelay channel list.

    First thing you need to do is install either NCam or OSCam. Both are configured exactly the same way.

    These files come with everything already pre-configured for ICAM .
    No other edits are required, just add your reader to ncam.server or oscam.server. Configs are found in /etc/tuxbox/config

    I have done the following:

    Installed the OSCAM Icam patch with all the preconfigured settings as advised in the original thread . All on the latest image of openvix.

    Do I now add the Modified streamrelay bouquets in etc, enigma2 ?

    And then add optinal .tv files if I want to kinal keep the originbal sat channel list ?

    Is the above all I have to do?

    i can get into oscam web interface


    The box i have is EXTREND ET8500 running openvix 6.4 latest

    May be its one of the settings in the config files but not the oscam.server provided by the provider

    Yes it tried that same thing happens - blank screen and also message saying initialsing soft cam please wait and it just hangs there. I will try web inif as master g said

    in openvix 6.4 iI tried the link with the ipk files. I assume it loads the script. I went into softcam managment and selected soft cam script then selected the soft cam OSCAM_11718-r798, I also selcted softcam scriot enable restart.


    Al i get is a blank screen and a mesage saying initilaising softcam but it just hangs there regardless of what channels i want to clear on 28.2 and 19.2


    I used the osc.server file suplied by the provider and put all configs in to etc /tubox/configs


    am I doing sonthing wrong?

    I have been going thru all the posts, can someone point me in the right direction of how to install oscam/icam on open vix and files needed?

    My understandng is that its now a script method which may have been updated?


    Is it the same method and files for Open Black Hole as well?


    Am i right in saying that I need to upload a icam channle list as OSCAM it self will not work on icam?

    Just like to say I got it woking, i was using the wrong oscam version that works with openblack hole 5 and thre is a specificway to install it via telent.

    The version I should have used is oscam 11704-r798.


    For anyone using Open Blackhole5 and want to use OSCAM

    This is the way to do it:


    If using a pc/laptop make sure you have putty or similar software that can connect via telent.

    Connect to your enigma2 box via telnet by using your reciever username and pass that yu use to connect to your box


    enter the following telnet command :

    You will then be asked which softcam should be installed - select option 1 Oscam then press enter

    installation will take place and box should reboot


    Then put your OSCAM config files in etc/tubox/config folder


    reboot your box then press blue button and select oscam 11704-r798


    then hold your breath :beaming face with smiling eyes: (should be working now)

Contact whoever you got them from, show them your reader and the log where its fails because of user/pass and ask for new credentials.

    I wish i had another solution but we have tried everything.

    Thanks for your help. I did contact tech support previously and beacuse it worked under Openvix and not Open Blackhole 5 they were clueless and could not advise.

    This kind of gives me an impression that there is somthing wrong with Open Blackhole 5 and I tried asking that forum but no one had a clue and not many replies as much as I have had here.


    At least I learnt somthing
