    MANUAL DATABASE SYSTEM

    WHAT IT IS:

An intelligent database that stores your manual corrections and automatically reuses them in future conversions.

    HOW IT WORKS:

    1. Automatic Reuse

When you make a manual correction (e.g., "Rai 1" → correct DVB reference),

The system saves the correction in an internal database.

In future conversions, it automatically finds the saved corrections.

Save time - you don't have to redo the same corrections.

    2. Advanced Statistics

Shows how many matches were "saved" from the manual database.

Indicator: "Manual DB matches: X" in the conversion statistics.

Improved EPG coverage thanks to reused corrections.

    3. Database Management

In the Tools → Manual Database Management menu:

View Manual Corrections - View all saved corrections.

Clean Manual Database - Delete the entire database.

Export Manual Database - Export backups of the manual database. Corrections

    ADVANTAGES:

Less manual work - Corrections are reused

More precise matching - Your corrections have priority

Progressive learning - The system improves with use

Secure backup - You don't lose your work

    CONFIGURATION:

Enabled by default - Works automatically

Limit 1000 corrections - Automatically cleans up old entries

    File location: /etc/enigma2/archimede_manual_mappings.json

    For the Normal User:

    Perform conversions normally

Use the Manual Editor to correct incorrect matches

The system will automatically remember your corrections

In future conversions, it will use saved corrections

    For the Advanced User:

    Tools → Manual Database Management

View - Review all saved corrections

Delete - Remove specific corrections if necessary

    Export - Backup your corrections

    :face screaming in fear:

I don't know if I'm allowed to, since the Github source belongs to you and not to me :). Also, downloading individual files from Github, if there are, for example, 1500 of them, probably won't work well. I don't know. I haven't tried using Github as a file storage server yet :). It might be possible, but I don't know. Anyway, I don't own any storage server... so there's nowhere to store it on the internet.

Some time ago I sent you an invitation to share the github, so you can be autonomous in my github.. You are a collaborator so you can do it.

Friends, forgive me for interfering in your debate, but wouldn't https://mega.nz/ be enough as a storage space ? There's 20GB of free space there.

If that's nonsense, please don't stone me.

    BETTER MEDIAFIRE FOR DOWNLOAD ;)

I was referring to compacting zip files and then downloading them. The software only prepares the files and can send them to a host or box.

The rest is done by the Python code.

    in to next version ;)

After the conversion, a screen automatically opens (or not, depending on how you set the configuration ;)) where you assign

the converted channels with reporting (no EPG) to the left. If you press OK on that channel, you go to the window on the right and assign the correct match.

Press green to update/assign that EPG to the left.

    Everything perfect :)

ch+/ch+ to scroll through the list (the lists are long).

so you need a piconmanager developer: that groups in 7zip or ipk or other the picons for sat / format / etc.

And we're back to square one.

    And yet it's simple.

Mmark created a fabulous PC program,

E2Picons, which is available on the forum.

    server on host

    server ftp (box)

This program already does all this.

Splits by format - satellite, etc.

And if configured properly, it can also send to an FTP server. ;)

My friend, I can't see all the forum topics and take the trouble to do everything myself. If you want to continue like this, go ahead. If you want the picons to be used, you'll need an external container.

If you wait for me to save the picons you attach one by one... wait... wait... :lolz:

One hand each can do everything.

There are plenty of picons everywhere.

    They should be carefully managed

    - graphically and divided by type/format/background

    - other plugins do it, but the sources aren't always up to date

    - I created a single container, and there are scripts to automatically update the format already on GitHub (whenever requested and with every update)

    - today I added more picons (rakuten-samsung)

    - we're behind on satellite, digital, and cable picons.

They're usually downloaded to your PC and updated with a program like satedit or e-channelizer ;) very efficient.

    - if you want to use the remote control, a fairly thorough intervention is required not only on the aspects I've already mentioned, but also on the backend side of the plugin structure.

It takes minutes to do all the work (dual satellite), imagine on a desktop computer.

GitHub is actually a bit slow with these things. I currently have: Number of graphic files: 91715

Your plugin is very fast. All you need to do is update the picons.

You could also download all the picons from a source and make a good match (but I assure you it's not easy, I'm going crazy with my new plugin). But I'm pretty far along, so to speak. From m3u to .tv, it's very fast, and out of 1000 channels, it has 65-80% coverage. It all depends on the .m3u file (try it ;))

You could consider adding another class that would take other (missing) picons for the final match... but I don't know. It's a real shame.

I've uploaded all your picons here
