    try catseye settings and remove what sats you dont wish to have from it with dreambox edit :)

    and i bet you have not looked into the wee sister stb of the U4Quad and its channel edit tools as i have suggested to do to either above or in another thread


    in yeah DUDEnl was a great giver of advice on what FW rev and editor to use :) on that site TBH but hey what do i know lol

    but untill then this ill get anyone who is on 28.2 up and running to have LIVETV within kodi via TVH with the files i have gotten for various sources

    update ,



    when ever i installed Tvh it would cause fatal boot after rebooting system just boot to main screen log in then go blank after cpl mins
    so i reinstalled 16.04 and redone oscam again following the tutorial provided by RIP you know who with the modded script and installing
    manually as shown on page 36,


    now i have installed VDR without any re-boot issues cant ind what version tbh and kodi 15.1 final would pref 16.1 but alas i went for stable version as was trying to single out the reboot fail
    issue , now my issue is that cant seem to be able to change the channels.conf manually or even scan on 28.2 to generate a new one either , snd off cousre not be able to pick up the dvb-s2 card to watch live tv


    would pref to use VDR as its easiest to sort chan list on , use TVH on my wetek but obv just update my list via plug in and then exsport the E2 list via wetek app easily enough but for ubuntu i pdnt think there is a autu update cron job anymore so vdr can use the online E2 to VDR config and and cpl edits sorted,

    any chan i choose i clear but hey who am to say :)
    if oscam you not need lessons on then you clearly shold be able to do as i am doing and clear all in favs list
    as for numbers of chans very poss duplicated chans been remved to slim down lists i have set as i wish
    you can continue on and add more if you wish and re-post it back if those chans are a big issue for you
    but as i say i would use 1.5 ecditor or tvheadedit :)

    ok then its working ok here , but do try and look about the U4Quad section and im sure its well covered how to achieve what you ask
    a simple search will show you how o config your oscam + cccam on U4 Quad the info given via oscam in U4 is a template is just to follow

    find a solution to the problems but hey its only a perception after all :P


    if you want E2 buy E2
    if you want droid then buy droid but one would actually suggest you know what capability the product has
    before you buy have you tryd the FW i suggested and the channel editor v 1.5 i only suggest this as DudeNL
    on the other site yah bitch on has said it works and off-course there is always tvheadedit that will do it as well
    there is another family box of Q4 that will do the same to of the file you grab of stb ;)


    but hey what do i know ;)

    yah cant via webif look above your last post for how to load softcam keys and install a ftp server to andrfoid like nitroftp ;)
    and ftp in the config location told in files oscam version ....... Box type: hisilicon (quads)
    ConfigDir: /data/oscam/ and change your files

    mumu backend works will with simple iptv for sat to , or VDR would be a very easy to sort fav's

    ok so after playing with various FW in such things here is what i think is best way
    to achieve a working 28.2 UK in order list via kodi ;)


    follow as below :)


    factory reset your U4 and flash this firmware to it via USB in normal way

    once rebooted now do a online update via normal methods to latest FW


    one updated to latest FW now reboot again and use the file below one renamed again to tvdata

    i am still to Finnish of the backup but will update with my normal kodi settings as per my other backups

    i dont have a DVB-C tuner for mine tbh so cant really comment but i am sure its ok from what i have read within libreelec forum
    but i would rather see FBC tunners than a dvb-s & -c hybrid i cant grumble really much about what i use wetek play for really its E2 system for me is used to just generate the files required to cinvert to libreelec format
    droid side just to play retro games like snes ps1 megadrive ect ect , but even that looks like it will patched when the l8st libreelec krypton is finnished as its got retroemu built in , but do hear what yah saying tough
    still just dont get why they need so many versions when they could have finished at least one product one O/S fully first , but hey it still works well enough for me wont be buying the above new product but will probs buy the next plays2 that spec ive seen already as it can hold a microsata hdd
