can you try install from another Msd please to ensure its not a bad Msd
that's causing issues with the install from it , also after you installed android did you factory reset
after first boot ? this is known to help issues to and should always be done after every droid install -
I have fritzbox 7490 but he does not support VPN pptp
dont think theres a custom FW for ddwrt unfort but did find this info so should help yah out :)

i use DDWRT on my router to get ma VPN on it see if your router can get the custom firmware post your make in model :)

have you tryed to press the arrow button <- this changes 1 to 4 as red blue yellow green on a wetek std remote
see if this turns on the collored buttons or activate the numbers as colour -

I have installed but in settings under network there is not VPN config option.
hit menu buttion on the addon and set that way m8

ok done i have a V3 layer clone for dvb-s would wish to keep my remote as its fcuked ;)

not touched cable for some time in ma 2 500s are fcuked 1 does not but glitch tuner away in other is blk n white as scart in 3pin gone
cany justifi making 2 to 1 really in no longer have a dbox2 to play with only many Mosc stb :)but my 500s is fully working bar remote been goosd but i use droid to controll

you should be able to choose remote type under menu system cant mind the right location but its in menu then few down under another section

i just use kodi on all my devices unless there older like org xbox then its xbmc thats on them :) -
thanx to conect to another device like tab or laptop i actualily fire in a 2gig micro sd with OpenAtv installed
theres a predone backup made for 28.2 thats got tuner server installed this lets me jack into the wetek via laptop/tab or anydevice thats
got kodi installed via the VU+ PVR addon over wifi in cat5 , i should really look more into using O/E or L/E for same job but i also use the E2
image to update my channel lists ect ect to then convert to VDR or TVH accordingly i will be posting a updated image soon for wetek on every platform
so i will add that into my plans to be able to stream to another device within Openelc or Libreelec :)as for EPG i find with TVH you need to clear the data from system/livetv/epg ect etc clear data in there in within a few mins TVH will pick it up , as for repeated
channels when u search thats prob because there is various channels for diff areas so this is why they will be shown up more than once poss -
also ensure all usb in hdd are unpluged when trying to flash stb another good idea is to try another USB or tried in tested USB used before
to ensure USB is compatible some USB dont flash some stb from what i have seen in read from others many times :) -

update with latest android Firmware then install O/E onto nand m8
you need latest droid installed b4 you install latest openelec into nand :)any drama's of files quote or pm me kk :)

That will be very useful I had issues trying to install the same, just when you think you have finally found the E2 image you would be happy to use something is changed that breaks some of the addons you use. Tell the missus you have more important stuff to do, none of that girly stuff, I am sure we will visit you while you are in the hospital m8
