not got one of these stb , but have you tried a diff usb drive ? also do you have anyother usb attached or a HDD attached if so remove them and retry or
try with a diff usb drive in see if it helps :)

OK have you tried to download picons via the LinuxsatSupport plugin ?
this will norm place them into the correct folders when you download and install them ?

i am only 28.2 here tbh and norm have my picons in usb on my E2 devices :)

all good sir you can also use the VU+PVR on kodi to jack into yer E2 stb if you have one in share the tuners via tuner server on E2 stb and VU+ PVR
on the fire stick via the wifi just ensure yah have a USB stick in the E2 stb and it will work sweet as a nut ive tested this myself :)

i cant say what locations there in but you would serach for the file manes via a program on win laptop called winscp

what picons you trying to use for what sat ? if its 28.2 use RATS PICONS updater this will work :)

Updated Rats 20-03-16 chnanels.conf file for VDR

USE WINSCP & either copy and paste into chanels.conf or replace and edit name
so yours is changed to chanelsbkup.conf and then rename mune to channels.conf
at these two locations

/storage/.kodi/addons/service.multimedia.vdr-addon/config

/storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.multimedia.vdr-addon/config

then reboot wetek , once rebooted do this via remote SYSTEM,liveTV, then choose clear data
this will update your list :)

So a new Just enough O/S for Kodi is born it would seem for what eva reasons
