it may help for folk to know what image your running on the stb :)

if you was pure nthell back in old days just pick first one i beleive m8

so you tryin to hot swap the hdd then ot you wanting to setup a network mount to it whilst is running windows

i would not be using a windows o/s drive as a hdd in stb and then for windows via hot swap never tryd tbh but one would assume it would goose the system as total diff formats ect etc

hit the link read to end in a ipk is there as for snoop i cant confirm the last ipk will install snoop if not required

but im sure you will find out soon enough after you unrar read the readme or give it a whirle :)

if yo can access via ftp then you will be able to check the config files to ensure the port 8888 is right 8989, 83 ive seen used
depending on oscam rev in platform , but if yah ftp into box then check the config files you will defo know if you the right port :)

if you can format the drive to ext4
then use device manager to set up the mounts and then format the mounts and it should show up

what image you using on this ?

my package arrived today anah , so ill prob start the linux,xbmc,vdr pc with dvb-s2 and see if i can get that to pull it in right
and see if i cant get wetek vdr to grab it from there , gona try stay aff it me lolz

im sure thereis a version of autoboukets that will work with the dvb-c
give that a try and report back :)

thats ok i am crap at spelling lolz , wetek theatre was what i was talking about stock android for wetek how they watch dvb-s
there is not any app like yours above and wetek have said that they wont be bring one out either so you can stream your dvb
to another device as you have done for the E2 port , hope this makes more sense :)

plugin Eepg and you have have to tune to epg background audio iirc to grab from stream the epg
that plugin should pull into vdr the epg just like lazers does on commando images i beleive
ive added this to my channel.conf in radio section but not been able to conect , just says no data :(

there a few scripts for VDR in linux , makes me wonder if you can , add that epg cache via network and config the xmltvsource to go to the linux source rather than
to where it going the now .

waiting on a parcel to arrivbe then i think im gona install the linux xbmc oscam install giude posted by Master G and see if this is indeed possible , dont see why i cant be as network mounts are availible within kodi openelec might be a way forward , dont know if there is anything similer for windows O/S with xbmc/kodi with VDR but would imagine its very possible anah , probs a long way for a shortcut but i have a few devices that only run xbmc/kodi and pick up my tuners so i will try on one oh em in when the parcel arrives :)

i tryd the First group type that failed to generate as per i wanted i then tryd 1,2,3,4 and so on but still had some issues
so yeah did A,B,C,D,E,F and so on and it seamed to stick , there is still a section out i think but i recon i just missed that yin ;)

still issues with the epg xlml import i think is way ahead , reason were only getting so much epg retained is that freesat n sly are on diff transponders, i read that rytek has stated that only certian apps / scrips are permited and only under certian rules like can not ask for data more than once aday n few other things because of teh problems exsperanced cpl year back when it went petetong for rytek n had to move hosts ect ect , still to read more on how to achieve full epg n retaining the info , as i leak epg every reboot or changin from live tv to say genisis , navi x ect ect , even after clear data in epg settings it never come back right lolz

what image you running the now ?

i norm update via ftp by sticking my image in the temp folder and installing via remote
dont do the above untill you get a replay to or not as you may stop the booting of stb
i norm only update same image that way and have never tryed to change systems that way
so it may not be best way to move forward :)
you can also flash wizard pro if i mind right can flash via eithernet but id have to check back

try rats chanell updater and picon updater anah djonesey much quicker than auto bouquets ;)

either grab it asipk from on here or add the linuxsat support addon to your 800hd :)

dreambox edit is easy like , there a guide posted on here im sure :)
