What was this for? https://trac.streamboard.tv/oscam/changeset/11712

Here if proof that the stream is being passed from TVH to OSCAM (via my proxy app) and then from OSCAM to VLC
I guess the stream just lacks whatever is required for OSCAM to try and descramble it.
Also, as far as I know the stream coming from TVH is just the raw data from the sat.
One more thing, I am using OSCAM-EMU and I applied the patch that was uploaded on here. In regular OSCAM I don't see the stream relay config options in the web UI.

Do you know what is injected into the stream?
I'm not really sure what a CW is.
Is it as simple as adding it as a header or is it more complicated/constantly changing?

A stream is still a stream, weather it is done by the STB or received over the internet, an internet stream is Internet Protocol Tele Vision (IPTV)
But if the streaming device is an stb or an pc with headend or sth else , thats make no real difference for an client or ?
Or do i miss sth.best regards
For simplicity...... Any satellite channel could be done in the same format as the bouquet used in this so called icam bouquet.
Yes it should be possible with tvheadend but I have not used it in years so can't help with specifics.
I have been trying to get it working with TVH myself. I haven't managed it though. Even after I made a small proxy app to go between OSCAM and TVH (required because it seems OSCAM only supports E2 style service refs), OSCAM just passes the stream on and doesn't seem to even try decrypting it. Looking at the E2 guides on stream relay, it seems it requires an option to pass ecm in http streams. No idea if that happens with TVH and if there is an option for it. There is an option to pass the emm (no documentation), but setting that crashes TVH. It does cause OSCAM to spit out more info in the logs though, which suggest its trying to do something with the stream.
If you would like to test the emm option for me, try to stream a service in VLC etc like this...

The difference between the sky it and uk hacks and this one is that those hacks forced you to buy hardware and use their servers. From what I have read people are using this hack with their own real cards and existing boxes. The other hacks mysteriously only lasted 12 months at best, then a "new" hack came along that required yet another particular box. They were/are just trying to sell crappy boxes and private servers.
This is not a new hack, i have seen it before over a year ago on sly UK. - and that didn't last long, they never do TBH.
As reported by others, with a physical card in the slot, stream relay dose not work with this patch. I didn't try to hard as not bothered by sly DE anyways.
People cant use real cards? When I was looking for the oscam patch source, most of what I found was people talking about pairing cards.

I'm not sure the source has been posted anywhere yet has it?
-
I was wondering why not all of the Telenor channels open for me.
I am using free servers and almost all of the channels open, but not the V Sport channels.
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in encryption or could it be a config error my end?
-
There must be a patch or something?
there is somewhere but not public...... i too have been looking for it.
OK. Will you post it on here if you find it?

There must be a patch or something?
-
Is there a source for this yet? I need to compile for x86.
-
"IPTV" and "N/A" is because it technically is IPTV, not from the internet but from OSCAM.
With stream relay the DVB-S stream is passed through OSCAM, magic happens, then OSCAM streams it back.
-
Is there an official source for this icam patched version of oscam? github etc?
-
From what I understand the new sky de hack requires stream relay.
I don't know anything about it and I use PC not E2.
Hopefully someone will explain everything properly.
-
So it takes too long to calculate?
-
Looks like some of them are back on viaccess again.
How are the keys calculated?
-
Seems to be working on some channels

I didn't realise ncam also got bis keys. I thought it was just afn powervu.
I have tested ncam.fs with a lot more than 5 lines with no issues. I am running ncam on a pc.
-
Is there any chance we could have the passwords added to the names of the readers?
`host_port_user_pass` instead of just `host_port_user`
How about removing the lines from the config file when ncam removes/disables it?
If I keep adding lines, it wont take long before my cccam.cfg is enormous and full of dead lines.

So its just 2 different names for the same thing?
I had a look at the source (I don't understand C). It seems that the same read function is used for both files?
I wonder what the point is?
Yes, same function with different file names.
You can specify another path to the CCcam.cfg file in the configuration.
ncam.fs is only in the config folder.
up to you...

Thanks. How often are the files checked? Just on restart?
