Display MoreThe Zgemma H9 Twin also has twin sat tuners and an internal hdd bay.
Series link (autotimer) is preinstalled on most images.
So, in a nutshell, the Zgemma H9 Twin could do what the Humax FoxSat can do (and more of course as Humax doesn't have plugins or all those extras)?
Does H9 Twin do the following:
1. It can record TWO channels at the SAME time (due to two tuner inputs)?
2. Could I watch a playback from the internal HDD while H9 is recording the two programmes, at the same time?
3. The H9 can use the existing twin cable from existing LNB (a case of unplugging Humax and plugging in H9)?
Yes, the H9 Twin can do all of the above and it also has a slot for an sdcard for extra storage or instead of using a hdd.

I still don't know how to do this .. and i need help ..I don't know how and with what to open this logo.img and where to replace it ..
I don't know if you managed to resolve this but just flashing the latest ViX recovery.emmc from usb will replace the OpenATV splash screen with the Hisilicon one.
Just extract the recovery file to usb and power on the box whilst holding in the reset button on the back until FLSH appears on the display.
This seems to only update the recovery partition and splash screen and does not affect installed images.
I don't know how to flash a custom splash screen unfortunately.
The retailer is normally responsible for the cost of any returns (as specified in the Consumer Contracts Regulations), but this depends on the terms and conditions of the retailer. However, you are not expected to pay for postage when returning faulty products (as explained above). The retailer must also collect the goods without charge if they have been delivered to your home and cannot reasonably be returned by post.
Only got my box last week so I really want to discover how it is meant to work, quick press? press and hold? how long to wait after turning on the power? - and make sure my recovery switch isn't faulty!
I switch the power on and as soon as the display shows BOOT I press and hold the recovery button until the display changes to UPDT and then release it.
It works every time for me.
I don't know where the button is on a mini but it's on the back on the SF8008.
I've sawn a little bolt end off and put it in the recess and put tape over it so I can press it like a normal button.
On the SF8008 you have to power on with the switch and immediately press the recovery button, not both at the same time.
It's confusing. The one labelled USB is for couch flashing and the recovery.emmc is for USB flashing.
To flash from USB you need the recovery image, not the usb one.
Someone on another forum had similar issues. Not sure if there was a resolution.
Google 'strange ocurance with epg' (with that exact spelling).
They're old instructions. There only used to be one file but now there is a recovery.emmc that repartitions the flash memory and installs the image to the first slot.
I've mentioned that the guide may need to be updated on the ViX forum.
Just an update to say I finally did manage to flash the unit when I used a different USB stick!
so it seems the problem only occurs with USB.zips.
You must use the recovery.emmc file to flash by USB, not the one labelled USB. That is for flashing via software manager.
Works fine for me on ViX 5.4.004
The problem is I can't get the box to enter Flash mode. The usual of pressing the standby button while power up just doesn't work.
You have to press the little button under the front flap, not the standby button.
Sorry, I missed the microsd part, I thought you'd updated Android and lost E2.
