using openatv on dm520, when i try to download from linuxsat panel "connection reset by peer" error occurs,

any ideas as to why?

no good, their is no file called oscam in usr/bin
I put the file in anyway, bbut no joy.
Its too much for me, im done, taking the box back tomorrow, else I will end up in the nuthatch.

thanks for that, downloaded it, but now I dont know how to put in the dreambox, have tried with dcc, and web firmware upload, but neither recongnise the file, do I have to rename the file?

I do not know about readers, have been looking for an Image with the oscam already to go, the best I could find was demonsat which allowed me to download oscam from a blue panel.
I have also a dm520 which i added openatv5.3 that already had oscam and worked when I added the softcam.key file
Have tried to follow some of your advice about adding to an image the oscam, but that ended in failure also, pretty much stuck now for 2 days.

I have tried to watch 1+1 international, which I know is possible because it works onthe dm520.

can anyone help me with this, am using a demonsat image for dm900

hello jokosat, i have openatv on the other dreambox, that works great after you helped me. but the image for dm900 has no oscam on it, I have been trying to do as you say above and add it myself, but i cannot succeed

Is there an image for download, which includes softcam, as I am completly unable to add to a image already loaded.
Every time I try to download it separetly it comes out as a notepad file, so I think my only answer is for it to be already included

tried installing openatv5.3 on dm900
image seems to load okay, but when trying the setup. i get to select language and then when selecting the language the screen ask whether i want to delete other languages, whetherI select yes or no the same happens.
THe box crashes.

The same with openatv6.0

managed to find them, if you out the scrambled channel on, the eight digits that precede the CW are viewable within webif

there is no converting needed

but how do i know what to put in the boxes?, I only have the key, what to put for sid box?, and ecm pid?

in softcam.key a biss key is like this = xxxx xxxx 00 1111111122222222

when a a feed key is just found and you have add to the softcam.key only 1111111122222222 is reported

how are the first xxxx xxxx found?

does the image contain the cams?

What plugin is needed to stream from dreambox to pc, more tan one channel , the four channels are on the same transponder
