I've personally been to a cell phone repair center that replaces CPUs on laptop motherboards, and I've seen the accessories that attach the boards and remove them by desoldering and re-soldering components with lasers. I think everything can be done, but it should be clarified... how to get the original CPU? That's the problem.

ATV usually leaves it named noforce.
If it's in ATV, rename it to force and unplug it for 2 minutes.
Then turn it on without doing anything. Let it do its thing. The menu should appear.
