Forgot to mention I'm using dream elite 6 with kodi 17.4-rci from an image here that kodi was pre installed for dream elite 6 from june 2017 any help to get kodi working would be appreciated.

Has anyone here managed to get kodi to work with their dreambox? Im using dream elite 6 and kodi freezes up when i try to view a video then kicks me out to main screen.

I read on a german forum someone had the same problem and fixed it installing a python module

I cant seem to find any beautiful soup feeds from wget or opkg nor can I find an ipk to install beautifulsoup. Anyone here know?

My image doesnt grab bsoup from feeds so i need to manual install and i see many veesions, wish someone would confirm whether python must match.

Echanizer is somewhat like dedit but gives the maps of channels. I havent spent much time with it, but it does pull the channel list and shows the mapping pids all info. Are you trying to get your 800 going with epg?

Beuatiful soup does the scraping, and e-channelizer is what can be used to map the channel values. There are many versions of bsoup before I proceed I was wondering if someone knows which ver I should use.

The emm normally processes the ecm keys if the emm is valid. The provider sets an emm for each subscriber therefore if that subscriber cancels the emm will write

Fake ecm keys to that group id and no longer work. With that said some providers never change the ecm keys and those transponders are best not to use an emm its not needed. A good example is sat 91w 3820v 30000. That key has been static probably since they added it and the ecm keys for that one are all over the web.

Many guides and lots of extra info at satuniverse along with keys but like someone said not a lot for our side of the planet.

Basically here is the format

P for pvu

Groupid a number you assign to a group of channels that are from same transponder. Can be any number but cant repeat for a different group

This is my 105 group id and the channel sid is 006b the 00 denotes the index key 00 or 01 last when you get a working emm that format is just

P(groupid) emm without the 00 in between the user au identifier and the emm key (two part key) so the emm should be like this

P 0105 00500000 F833C7000000000; EMM Key

Even if you get the keys you have a mountain of work ahead writing your softcam. I had to write my own and its about 2000 lines long before the keys the emu added and still adding. Before you go further make sure you have the emu setup to autoroll. Also a word from experience is to start from one end of the arc and work the other way. Btw 135w just pulled a ton of channels as its life is almost over. The tvro sat charts are very helpful and continuously updated for NA.

Figured it out the nameserver address was the culprit.

Dm 900 dreamelite 6 updated in august. Love this image but if i set ip to static the box will not get on the net. Its wired to router. If i put back to dynamic will not work either have to do a restore from dbackup to get back on the net. Any ideas? Thanks

Waiting on the incredibly slow dream team. They have had this box for a month now. Luckily i have another one. Worst customer service ever.

So i have the older oscam emu 89 for arm dm900. The new format for pvu has started moving from 58w now coming to 101w. My question is which one do i download for the updates pvu has implemented for dream elite on my dm900.

I do no cam sharing just running oscam.

My second question is can i just replace the oscam bin? Also have the emm keys changed also? Many thanks in advance.
