I wrote a new image to my dm800 and restored my satellite info through Dreamset but although my channels are all there they are greyed out becuase the tuner says it's Unconfigured. What do I transfer via FTP or how do I restore the tuner configs so I don't have to go through setting up all my sats, lnb's, switches etc all over again ?

    bump

See that's the point, he wasn't asking about scanning multistream. He only mentioned it I think as a way of saying which version of tuner his box has (or came with) because not all tuners necessarily support hardware blindscan.

So just to clear this up... the triple tuner is the new one, right, dvb-s2x ?

Oh and I understand fully about the combinations involved in scanning multistreams. Almost a form of encryption if you had to guess at it.

I think alb misunderstood your question.

I've been to the end of the interwebs and back and can't ascertain if the dm900 has a functioning blindscan with the new tuners, the old tuners or any in between! Anyone that has one of these feel free to chime in with a definitive answer.

No im not mistaken. Powervu working even auto role is working. But some channels blacked out. 57E MTN Networks channels do auto role but all I get black screen. I think it has something tp dp with my box and its drivers.

So it wasn't working all this time and magically you have it working. Please explain further or better still backup your image and post here for others to verify.

It has to match your installed version of Python I think. I looked up Echannelizer it looks like a type of Dreambox Edit on steroids is that about right ?

Functionally all I want (and I suspect others as well) is to create links from scanned channels. If you've scanned thousands of channels you're not inclined to manually add them as stream links one by one.

At the moment I don't even use bouquets I work from the channel list. If we could create a mirrored bouquet of each satellite (stream links) that would be ideal.

I'm interested in this as well. Does zap2it provide a downloadable form of their guide ? If not the site would have to be scraped, probably trivial for someone who can code python.

The second and more difficult part I think is mapping the listings to actual channels to make it functional.

Exactly what does this have to do with this thread ?

Is the Oscam web interface "baked into" the binary when compiled ? I've noticed some have FIles/SoftCam.Key (which is handy) and some don't . Or is there a separate file that can be updated on it's own ?
