Wonder if I,ve bought a wrong box,I have bought a DM800 HD for my daughter, I have flashed the I have transferred sgt flipflop channels to the DM but Favourites are empty. Also, I beleive I have mounted a usb for epg, when I go to crossepg setup It only shows the internal and not the usb as a choice. I have flashed 'sim201-ss82-Gemini3_0.29-r2-22-4-2011-mFaraj57.nfi' from the image section, all appears well until I try to load cross epg and sgt flip flop.
I hope someone can help with one other thing, I have a usb wireless device, it was working in another box and is configuired for my daughter router, I cannot activate a usb device in the DM setup, only LAn

Help please, I want to learn but she wants it for christmas and I might miss the boat lol

DITCHED THE IMAGE

headache, I have a dm800hd sim2 blackhole HDExperimental 2011-03-24, usb is mounted rw but cannot select it in crossepg config and its doing my head in, keep remounting it can see it clealy shows R?W but crossepg will only alow the internal hdd and not offer usb, help please before I crash the image and have to start again.

Oscam5960+CCcam213_E2_bh.zip is what I have in the temp folder on the DM master G

the green button opens plugin browser but the yellow is not shown and does nothing when pressed lol

I have the file in :/tmp on the dm i extracted it but just have two files of the same name oscam_ccam with extensions tar and ipk, but i do not seem able to activate it. ahh?

ok, have flashed and updated transponders, I am trying to put cccm in but cannot find the add on, also the blue button suprised me as it does not look like the blue button cccam funtion, how do i get the cccam into the dm pleasae

thanks, I have hooked up my serial cable (I used the same cable about a year ago to flash my own 800hd so the cables ok), I have installed 'dreamup V1.3.3.4.' I have followed the on screen instructions and when it says switch on the dreambox, I switch it on and it hangs still saying switch on dreambox.
Could it be the serial port protocol, or something ,ore sinister. my serial protocol is Com 4, 115200,8,none,1,none

Hi can someone please explain if i need the bootloader and flash for a SIM 201 #82 and if possible, a link to the correct software as I dont want to damage may dm as Ive only just bought it and i am on vu+duo

sh#t i did not put an ethernet in, it has a wirlless usb

Hi guys

I replaced my daughters DM500 for an 800hd, I fitted a usb and set-up the epg, I dont know how but I think I accidently hit backup (image I think) and now the dreambox is stuck halfway through the bootup progress bar.
When i hold the standby the display shows Sim201, team #82, the dream800sim2.com, dhpc (but no address) 'Stop'.

I looked around the dm tutorials but have not managed to find how to reflash from that screen (help please).

if a share is offering me sly full inc hd local card , and the share is agreed, when i look at clients in CS Studio and the share is using my sly non-hd is it probhable that the share is false and not a local card, how can I test to see if the share is genuine?. How do I see if the 256 trick is being used, I will read up but in the meantime someone may be able to advise me

Update: I found webinfo there are 2 entries nex to pid numbers with a symbol, when i hover the mouse it shows kill.?

My card has froze a few times and my shares have been lost, the only way to restore it is by restarting the cam, I just need a log of the problem if there is one logged.

Hi all,
I have a Vu duo+ and last nght I sent the dish to 13e (from 28), when I got up this morning it looks like the dish is max east, I have tried the manual button, no joy, wondering if the limit switch is breached or is the vu+ at fault.
Can I test the vu+ to see if it is outputting to the motor or whether the motor is faulty

Update, removed the desq motor, set the dish to 28.2 receiving asta ok, connected the motor to my Explorer test equipment and the desq motor runs, more work to be done

I created a swap file on the USB and it worked,removed the swap file and it stopped displaying
