I had been trying many many solution advices from forums on the net.

Not a single one solved my problem.

I have installed an image backup with Oscam version 11677-798 on it.

Now everything SKY + others work like a charm.

Yesterday i did try something similar with a backup from dec 2020 using oscam 678 (for some reason i dont have the 11677-798 for the ultimo 4k as i didnt see one posted) when i knew everything was ok but it was still the same.

My sky DE has been fine for 3 years but the last couple of weeks it freezes every min, tried everything to no avai. My line provider says

"Hello Yes, there are issues with normal Sky level because there are issues on the maps at the moment. thank you"

    Whatever that means??

Ive not renamed any of the default files. But i dont need that file according to the screenshots anyway but on the other hand openvpn will not start without it being present. For openvpn to start i still need the keys folder for whatever reason. If i dont have serverp2p.conf & Kys folder then openvpn cannot be started period.

This is on the serverp2p.conf file

    # openvpn config per server p2p

    # serverp2p.conf

    #

    # imposta la porta di comunicazione sulla porta 1194

    port 1194

    # protocollo

    proto tcp-server

    # assegna al server l'ip 10.8.55.1 e al client 10.8.55.2

    ifconfig 10.8.55.1 10.8.55.2

#assegnamo il tipo di dettaglio della log

    verb 5

#assegnamo tun come device per la vpn

    dev tun

    # file si autenticazione

    secret /etc/openvpn/keys/delite.key

    #crea un file di log

    log /etc/openvpn/openvpn.log

Not sure why its not in english

can you be clearer on which files to delete because the key folder is not a file but there are many files inside it, thanks for all your help.

this is my situ now, openvpn will not start unless i have the keys folder there. With this scenario the log reports errors regarding the delite.key which i have no clue what its suppossed to do, I have also tried ftping this file on its own with my other files but same problem. The only way for my openvpn to start is by having the "serverp2p.conf and the keys folder present. Other than that it will not start.

OK i will do it again but i know that openvpn will not start because of the missing key files. I cant explain this part in a better way. I know it should be a case of just copying my configs over but on normal blackhole images it will not, i have tried 3.10 / 3.09 / 3.0.8 using different builds.

What i can say is that my configs work on Open BH but i dont wanna use that image.

    Update, openvpn will not start.

Ok doesn't seem to be calling for the keys folder.

But also isn't asking for any other files other then the password.txt

So maybe try removing the other files you have added just leaving the client.conf, openvpn.log and password.txt files.

Ive tried this already, openvpn will not start if i delete the keys folder and the serverp2p.conf file. i can delete the client 1-2-3 files and it will run but my ip address never changes from the real one.

    Here you go bud

Just delete the files in the openvpn folder if you don't need them.

    Then add your openvpn files.

Go to the openvpn panel, press yellow to activate openvpn then green to start it.

Thanks for stepping in evo, if i delete the keys folder and the serverp2p.conf files then openvpn fails to start? but i will try this way again and report back. there is a log but i cant make heads or tails of it.

edit1: i have completely deleted all the files from the open vpn folder. i have ftpd my config files and done a full reboot. Openvpn will not start as the mentioned files are now deleted. Another point is that before i edit anything and just start openvpn it creates a new network adapter that wont adopt an ip address.

    edit2: taken from the log

Options error: --secret fails with '/etc/openvpn/keys/delite.key': No such file or directory [this file is located in the keys folder]

Options error: Please correct these errors.

    Use --help for more information.

Just some more info, my box is currently on 3.1.0 but i have reflashed way back to 3.0.8 with the same issue. Here is where it gets me, last week i sold my ultimo 4k with 3.0.9.P image and my configs run just fine with that, no messing around with anything, i regretted selling my box so bought another one.

I also tried to install the ipk manually from above but got the same message saying incompatible architecture. I also always do a full reboot after any type of editing.

Here are my working config files shown below in the image, which ones in the openvpn folder should i edit?

After running your 1st command please see pic. Not sure what to do next as im new to cmd etc. thanks. My version is 2.3.6 -r0
