123 Movies and Watcher are no longer supported, sorry...
Uninstall them, please...
OSCam Emu section > my thread re. PV config, how to get it all...
It's an abandoned project, apparently, so - uninstall...
To check a score I simply turn to another channel, then use BACK or <PREV button on remote control unit (RCU). Those buttons will serve the purpose fairly well in new, stronger STBs, as zapping will be fast...
However, to answer your question directly and fully...
"Channel preview" means PiG (Picture in Graphics) - that option we do not have in PurE2's Estuary skin, other than transparency set to about 50% or so in MENU > Plugins > Estuary config...
You can try with another skin - but I do not know if ALL PurE2 specific functions will work with other skins (FNC plugins in particular)...
PiG will be found in:
MENU > Plugins > green button to download more stuff > Skins >
AX_Blue_FHD_4ATV or
Aeon_FHD or
PLi-FullHD, then
change the skin in User Interface > Skin... or
pManager > Video/OSD/Skin > Change skin > confirm the suggested action, to restart E2.
When PurE2 restarts, you must go to:
MENU > Setup > System > Channel Selection settings >
Channel list preview = yes +
Channel list show Mini TV > Yes >
green button to save and then
Exit to go to
Standby menu to
Restart E2.
DO NOT REMOVE THE DEFAULT PURE2 ESTUARY SKIN, as some of its libs will be used by other skins!!!
When you do the above you will get the behaviour you are used to...
Good luck! :)
Who said one "needs" PurE2 version?
I said, to my knowledge, that is the best version currently - try it out if you are not OK with the other versions, for whatever reason...
My point is a different one: I have now tested an improved and complete version of E2iPlayer in PurE2, which PurE2 coders have patched up and they use the best of other coders' work, too...
So, try it and see...
If you're using PurE2, that version (in their extensions) does work very well...
Check out PurE2 version of E2iPlayer, guys!
Simply download/automatically install it from:
PurE2 > MENU > Plugins > green button > Extensions > E2iPlayer (currently 20p version)!
You do NOT need to download the E2iPlayer dependencies package first, as it will be downloaded automatically!
Restart STB.
Start E2iPlayer and just keep confirming, to get a few more necessary files.
Then, go to E2iPlayer's Settings and setup E2iPlayer properly (Cache, Buffer etc.).
To my knowledge, PurE2 has the best support for it now...
Njoy!!!:rasta2bigsmoke0gf1:
From Delfi/Tromo:
"To clarify a bit the difference between
enigma2-plugin-camd-oscam.emu-latest
and
enigma2-plugin-camd-oscam-emu.
The 1st one (latest) has a bit different compile settings and uses the latest oscam source. + a special patch.
The 2nd one (plain emu) is from a patched source.
Sometimes one is better than another, sometimes vice versa, depending on what you use it for etc. etc.
Both have now a testing playground in the following folder: /etc/tuxbox/configTEST
P.S. Currently, the latest is 11520 and the other one is 11518..."
Our new image for 6.2 version will have the latest stable Gstreamer v. 1.17.
PurE2 v. 6.3 will for now, however, stay on Gstreamer v. 1.16.
We'll see how this will develop... ;)
I already have: Mgcamd For arm based receivers - just read a bit...
But!
OSCam Emu works better! See the thread in the stickies in the OSCam Emu section and easy-peasy...
Not correct. Tested.
Delfi/tromo:
"Some changes in E2iPlayer. Not all the images are up to date.
We'll try to shift focus to 6.3 except for the boxes that do not work well under 6.3."
I would say that PurE2 E2iPlayer version is now pretty darn well made!!! Probably as close to the original as you can get at the moment...
Moreover...
Delfi:
"Sadly (or gladly, depending on one's point of view :) ), there is yet another update for Gstreamer in 6.2 images (v17.x), therefore, very likely that on line reflash will be needed for 6.2 images dated 1.6.2019 or later. Sorry for the inconvenience."
Franc:
"updated:
yify-fnc (6.3 version in the separate directory!) - fix trailer, etc..
filme-fnc (fix trailer, fix categories, new vip streams...)
serien-fnc (fix trailer, fix categories, new vip streams...)
iwaatch-fnc (fix trailer)
imdb-fnc (fix trailer)
radio-fnc (fix station list; no more limit on 100 stations per category. skin update needed)
...
What for? You have CS for terrestrial TV? Where? (Just curious...)
I pulled the MGcamD.arm from our feed, the config files come with it to /usr/keys (for those who do not know this...)
cccamd.list (one must rename the file and delete .example, of course) > put your C lines in there and restart E2, then start MGcamD from pManager and it works with DVB-S2, on H9.2H - just tested.
newcamd.list wouldn't work, for some reason, sorry, must investigate...
Fresh discounts...
https://sharewareonsale.com/s/free-zoogvpn-100-discount - 6 months 60GB per month FREE is not bad at all, if they are fast and reliable...
=============================================================
Delfi/tromo:
"Latest yify-fnc ver 4.5 added for SH4 boxes.
A NOTE for 6.3 users with NTFS USB sticks: use pManager --> Plugins--> Download most used plugins --> NTFS (windows) support.
Although, it seems that Win10 might soon be able to read/write ext4 linux format without special tools."
SoftcamKey FNC plugin now includes a couple of new destinations for the file to be downloaded to, like the CacheEX version of OSCam Emu, guys...
No worries, m8, so do I, it goes without saying... ;)
Yes, Jens, a good point:
MENU > Plugins > SW Management > MENU > choose your poison...
