    For E2iPlayer, not re. Exteplayer3!


    And it is in Vu - so, yes, I had a look but I can't find anything in there, maybe our coders will, however....


    I think it's probably Vu drivers, not Exteplayer3. As I said, it works in Edision OS mio 4K+ but not in Zgemma H9 series, probably the same with Vu, for the same reason...


    If there was a problem with Exteplayer3, then all my FNC plugins wouldn't work, as I put them all to work with Exteplayer3 and yet, they all DO work (in Edision)...

    Just plugged a mini USB wireless keyboard with a touchpad into my Edision+ (side USB port) > FNC plugins > IMDb-FNC > wrote something to search, pressed OK > all fine > exit button etc.


    So, working, generally speaking...


    My clock is 24hrs on LED and in PurE2. Time settings are:

    EU,

    London,

    transponder time and

    pool.ntp.org.

    Use this great tool to get the satellite list out of your STB, then edit it to your liking and then put it back in again....


    E-Channelizer info/tutorials/howtos - only!!!


    Once you get it out and save it, use other partitions you have to install PurE2 and SatdreamGr 8 - NOT the modified versions...

    In Alien 1/2 section and in ARTICLES, you will find a thread of mine, re. E2 Manager for Alien 1/2. Now, that is one cool tool by @Vasiliks. Pity other older and/or weaker boxes do not have it! Warmly recommended!

    Well, I haven't tried it with any other multiboot plugin myself either - but I do not need it. I simply use Satdreamgr 8 and PurE2. 'Nuff said... :tongue1:


    However, may I advise you that PurE2 6.5 is da business to try (not 6.3, as you stated), as it is better supported and greater fun, since it is constantly evolving by pushing the limits, being on the bleeding edge all the time, with all manner of libs etc.


    To that end I have 2 slots for PurE2 and 2 slots for other image tests. Current PurE2 v. 6.5 frequently can not be updated via a simple online SW update but has to be re-flashed, due to tons of libs being constantly improved, so one needs 2 slots for it....

  • how to enter recovery multiboot on pure2

    I haven't messed with that in Edision for a while, so haven't noticed it's no longer there (or was it never there to begin with but I went by memory, from other similar STBs?)... I have Satdreamgr 8 image installed as well, so I tried and couldn't find it there, either...


    Ergo, your way seems to be the way, other than flashing and repartitioning it all, using a USB stick with RECOVERY image on it...
