    I don't think you understand my point, Urie... A simple misunderstanding... I use some of these udp files and I have them on my USB stick, in openvpn folder. You can sort them out into other sub-folders with names of cities, for instance, if you want to - but you don't have to. I have tried many and I figured out which ones are best and which ones are useless, hence my choice of UDP files... ;)

    Dsayers, are both keys in the Nord udp file, then?

    SurfShark, as I explained many times, have only one file in which both authentication/encryption keys are. All I need is 1 file (udp) and my manual setup username/password. (going to plugin.py

    Other providers use more files, speaking from memory - they divide their keys into 2 files, so I presume you need both of those files, plus the username/password in VPN Manager itself, as described by me.....

    So, the difference in files used for keys is what you should pay attention to...

    You're in the right section, search & read a bit...

    I have not really recorded much, deffo not with that in mind... I can't recall which HDD I put in. Bitrate depends on the channel, film...

    PiP is a part of any image, I think... Deffo OE-A!

    H10 is not yet available. No one knows anything about it - it is not yet out! How will Android perform - no one knows...

    In my experience H7 is more than enough for all my needs, Enigma2 & HW-wise!

    I can not know your needs, as you did not give me details, so...

    Toner? WTH is that? This is not a printer! :)

    What I know I have written above and elsewhere!

    I do not own the very expensive new Vu and DMM models - I have seen some of them working and I have compared them in terms of functionality with my colleagues who do have them and some of them are serious people who code for all of those machines.

    For instance, we could compare Vus with the DVB-S2X tuner, with H7 ==> and we saw that in H7 it works better. The only difference - Vu (sometimes) have problems writing proper drivers... For instance, with DVB-S2X tuners here mentioned. They also ignore reports, most of the time... Not just common users but also serious partner teams reports!

    PowerVu channels, for instance, did not work well enough or at all, for quite a while. No such problems with H7, for instance...

    And so on and on....

    In the last few days I have experimented a bit trying to set up my DB500HD clone and I realised that if one is using just 1 big USB stick one should partition it in 3 partitions, like so:

    1) something like 2GB for Flash Expander

    2) the rest of the USB stick for HDD but minus 1GB which should go to

    3) Linux SWAP Partition - make sure it is not more than 1024MB = 1GB precisely!!!

    It looks like this, in your PC, using Mini Tool Partition Wizard:

    3b04289df7b.jpg

    1) In effect, Flash Expander will use the first 2GB mounted as /media/usb ==> to put the /usr folder there.

    2) Your HDD needs will be served with the largest part of the USB stick on the second partition, mounted as /media/hdd.

    Mount those 2 partitions as follows...

    c74730.jpg

    0b3d982341f3a2af4ac270.jpg

    c5c7a2eae7a377298b3ea2c2.jpg

    ef36ac5bcefada5a7.jpg

    So, all is the same as in the first post....

    EXCEPT FOR THIS, WHICH IS A NOVUM I JUST DISCOVERED

    3) When you start the SWAP Manager 2 you will no longer need to CREATE a SWAP FILE - you will have a SWAP PARTITION!!!

    So, MENU > Plugins > Swap Manager 2...

    16f226b943718fbe2ef9b385.jpg

    ==> it will automatically recognise the third partition, which is formatted as SWAP!!! It looks like this:

    dcb201a3.jpg

    So, activate it using the red button and you'll see this:

    225cab6dce502afa4.jpg

    Then, use the yellow button to make it start with E2, so in effect to "autostart" each time you restart E2:

    873f50f369203aca7b090c5.jpg

    Now, ain't that better in an old, HW limited lady, hehe.....:cool1::hello:don-t_mention::thank_you2:

    Want a cool audio file when you reboot your STB? OK... :rasta2bigsmoke0gf1: (Maybe some older STBs with very limited flash won't be able to do this but...)

    Delfi got a really cool audio wav file, together with a bit of code - so when one restarts E2 it's much nicer.... :beer1: I'll attach the wav file. Please, try it in your STBs!

    1) You must put the wav file in the following folder: usr/share/enigma2

    2) Then, one must put a line of code in /usr/bin > now, open file called enigma2.sh

    3) Insert the following code in line no. 2 (just under the line at the very top will do...):

    Code
    aplay -N /usr/share/enigma2/BBoot.wav

    4) Save the file, confirm and exit FTP app.

    5) Restart PurE2 and listen carefully...

    NICEEEEEEE!!!! :thumbup::cool1:

    PROBLEM: next time you make a SW update - this file will be overwritten and it won't work.

    Ergo, coders will have to change the code, so it includes this line as permanent, not to be overwritten...

    ( terrajoe will put it into the PurE2 GIT probably today...:party-time: )

    Linux firewall is available in feeds... usually...

    In PurE2 you have FNC plugin to check your speed etc.

    Btw, just change your password, after installing E2, to something complex!

    Kari, I explained in other posts precisely what you asked...

    Android is not really on the cards from Broadcom side, from what I heard...

    HiSilicon Zgemmas soon, we hope.... In H10 and H9 Twin/Combo SE (not the first edition)....

    Previously, in other boxes with Droid, we did not have a great experience... Let's hope this one coming would be better...

    It's OK at my end - UK with VPN... No bluescreen in Zgemma H9 Twin... with or without username and passwod for soap2day website!!!

    Generally speaking, you should make soap2day account and place your details in /etc/enigma2 folder.

    The file is called: fnc_olm_config.cfg

    You put in your details here:

    Code
    server=1
    timeout=30
    check_alternative_links=no
    alternative_timeout=3
    show_in_main_menu=yes
    show_in_plugin_list=no
    favorites_file=/etc/enigma2/fncolmfav.cfg
    player=5002
    username=xxxxxxx
    password=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Next time, please read the whole (FNC) thread carefully...

    There is no STOP button in VOD, as I just explained! Once you choose it - it starts downloading/buffering.

    It's just a link to a film and you treat it as any other channel! Choose it and it starts. It stops when you choose something else.

    If you reselect that film - it will restart.

    So, you can either move to another channel/film or restart the film.

    If it appears as if it stopped because you re-selected the film - it is buffering at that point but it will start soon. You can only stop it if you choose another film or channel. That's from a channels list...

    These images do not discriminate, as original images do... ;)

    And if I understood it correctly, you can move on from OpenPLi 2.1 to 6.x...

    Let us know if it works... :)

    Kill DHCP and set everything up with static IP addresses and permissions to suit...

    In the router connect each device to its MAC address - so reserve the local IP address for each device and it will all be flying...

    I set up my system like that:

    -PCs in certain range

    -STBs in certain range

    -tablets in certain range

    -mobile phones in certain range

    -TVs in certain range

    -radios in certain range

    etc.
