Probably wrong settings for the HW you use, then... It is complicated, so...

How many boxes are connected at the same time? LNBs are QUAD or...? How many switches, if QUAD? Two tuners in H7 are fed from different dishes/setups?

There is something important - it seems to me from a distance, like this - you are not telling us about your setup... Take photos of each bit and show us, so we're not wasting time...

Definitively: H7 is fine. We have seen it above, it does work. How come only your settings list works but you can't make Ciefp's or VHanibal's lists working? I think it's your understanding of your system.... If I'm frank... It seems to me you are stubbornly refusing to think differently and it is obviously needed... As you yourself suspect, as you mentioned above...

So, photos and details, please???

It's reasonable to assume it couldn't have been all those boxes!

Most likely it is the equipment outside the house, like switch, LNB, cables... I would bet my money on that!

Your log, it seems to me, admittedly an IT lay person - something like "signal issues"...

Misunderstanding, perhaps? In my experience the sources (whatever you wanna call them) from the net being faulty/flawed/inaccurate - there is nothing Rytec or anyone writing those plugins can do about it...

Yes, instead of System Plugins, in PurE2 6.5 it's installed to usr/crossepg... and not seen in the PurE2 MENUs, hence unusable...

And if one attempts to move it from there to somewhere else - nope... it disappears...

BUT!! I have a solution!!!! :) Or I wouldn't be me...

Install it, then FTP to your STB and take it out from /usr folder, i.e. move it to your PC.

Then, return it to your STB via FTP to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/CrossEPG folder and RESTART PurE2.

Go to System > EPG > CrossEPG Settings (as I demonstrated above) and set it up according to your needs...

Download EPG and there you are... it works! :)

No point: the sources are never accurate....

And that is not up to them...

P.S. EPG Import seems better than CrossEPG, it pulls more channels, more methodical - but it's as imprecise as ever, from a quick inspection...

Not Abu's mistake by any means but online sources from which EPG is pulled always were and I can see they still are quite a bit... "off"...

Here is an example, RTS3 giving a concert by Electric Orgasm and the EPG is "Home schooling for 8th graders - chemistry"...

This time I did my H7 from scratch with latest PurE2 6.5... H9 was fine but H7....

I confirm your findings, that in H7 CrossEPG for some reason does not appear in either plugins or EPG/System Apps...

I also found it in usr/crossepg folder...

H9 Twin, PurE2 6.5 latest, didn't have Cross in but EPG Import.

Did you have the Cross settings as I set them up?

In that case it is for your benefit, too - since as I just did it from scratch...

OK, just for you, yet again, from scratch, my darn headache, CrossEPG tutorial... for those who do not know...

First see my Sticky as to how to mount devices/partitions and what to send where in PurE2!!!

Then, press MENU on your RCU > Plugins > green button > System Addons >install CrossEPG 0.8.7 and restart PurE2.

MENU > Setup > System > EPG > EPG Settings:

If you want to download EPG at another time then MENU > Plugins > EPG Downloader > OK and wait...

Not interested in PiG for Estuary, I'm afraid... You have PiG in the main MENU, in one of 5-6 general options for Estuary but not in everything...

You need to change the skin to get it, sorry.

CrossEPG is overbearingly humongous...

Stops everything, while it is downloading and parsing and washing the dishes and giving me a massage... Duh! It never stops...

Bah, in Setup > EPG section is the special CrossEPG settings, not in Plugins, silly Billy me... I forgot that...

After I chose each provider and configured it all carefully yet again... I am downloading EPG via Xross...

I just lost Sources in EPG Import... so there's no starting it...

Tried CrossEPG (again, against my better judgement, as I don't want a headache, yet again....) and it won't start... So, no surprise there, in a way but at least it should download EPG and then... who knows... But OK, this is no good...

I did ask my coders about it... so we must wait and see...

EPG Import has various sources, you know... It is less buggy, unobtrusive... Try and see... ;)
