I politely requested these xml files for repartitioning of a H9.x/H9.2x flash (and other similar, not easily found files) be made available to us by the authors of the HiTool, i.e. Huawei but...

The trick: first undo the already assigned function to it, then assign a new one...
Btw, why would you change it? It's better as it is. You have Volume buttons for that. It's quick to get used to it, trust me... ;)

No Android for it, sorry... Kodi runs under E2. PurE2, also. Plus you get FNC plugins! No contest!
It's much stronger HW-wise, 8GB ROM & 4 partitions for E2, so multiboot natively, 1GB RAM, HDD slot and so on... Lots of fun!
You can have encrypted connection (VPN) and run demanding/high resolution streams and so on.It's a really great improvement, for sure!
Seen H7? Triple tuner and so on...
Depending on your needs...

Firstly, it is not difficult to setup for anyone!
Secondly, It gives one options, as it's possible to easily and quickly change the VPN, using only RCU, with a few clicks of a button...
Thirdly, it gives additional information, so it's rather cool in more ways than one!
Example: if one wants to use, say, Filme-FNC in PurE2 but one is outside Germany, by using a German VPN server, then switch to Filmler-FNC by changing to a Balkanic (for instance, Croat) VPN server - it's all very practical, fast and simple! For me, living in the UK, I must use VPN for YIFY-FNC, for instance, so then I must change quickly to the fastest UK server, for higher resolutions streams. And it simply works brilliantly!

"with osmio4kplus-PurE2-6.5-20200330_usb I am still unable to mount the drives after flashing, while osmio4kplus-PurE2-6.3-20200330_usb mounts the drives perfect.
(6.5 had time out error with HDD initialization waiting for mount, so flashed 6.3 & HDD initialization worked and mounted perfect from fstab. re-flashed 6.5 disabled auto mount again still wouldn't mount from fstab)"terrajoe says it's fixed now... ;)

i recently tried the 6.5 image to give some feedback, all was well untill it froze a few times, had to use the rear switch to get it back, also i couldn't get the fast forward or back with the ok button to work as the 6.3, is there a setting to change?
OK, thanx! But when giving feedback DEBUG LOGS are essential!!!
So, ACTIVATE LOGS in SYSTEM > LOG:Green button to SAVE and upload them here, please...

Cool, thanx, m8 - but it's kinda good to have a simple, straight name... ;)
And a good thing about it is that you don't have to get into the folder, just press OK on a folder once and it's pretty fast...
