    OLM thread!

Already written about it several times in various threads - increased security on Look* pages...

    Look above, m8!

Unplug everything from your machine, HDD/SSD included. Back it up, if needed.

Download 2 or 4 partitions PurE2 image and flash it from a USB stick, the usual way...

Once you flash the first partition switch it off and plug the HDD/SSD back into your machine.

Once it boots again, Device Manager > initialise the device (it will erase it all and reformat it), then mount it as /media/hdd.

Read exactly how to structure the image from my tutorials in PurE2 section.

    Good luck!

Hi everyone need some advice if possible atm I have a vu duo2 box and I need to upgrade it as I just got myself a new tv sound bar and new sud which has loads of 4K content but guess what my box doesn’t support it so what’s the best enigma / Linx box to go for many thanks. Drebs

It depends on what are you actually doing with it, i.e. what are your needs, really?

IPTV or Sat TV or cable TV or Terrestrial TV or some combination...???

If it is IPTV - which codecs do they use precisely? Can you check?

We can help but we need detailed info...

Broadly speaking Zgemma H7 triple tuner (DVB-S2X/C/T2) with HDD/SSD slot, multistreaming, card reader, CI CAM slot, 264/265 and tons of other stuff is the best to my mind but it may not be what you need...

    Just have a look:

H10 - to be honest - is not coming out until corona virus is off the menu, as Chinese workers are not in the factories... April? Who knows...

That is against the EU rules but Mierdoch never gave a flying f*&% about any kind of law...

The fact the Commission is tolerating what these guys have done (Mierdoch is gone from the UK's satellite business now but the same idea continues) and are continuing to do, means they are corrupt and incompetent in more ways than one, sadly...

Still, plenty of providers in CS + Emu are OK (especially with OSCam Emu Ccache) and one can exchange over a border-line without harming anyone's interests, for as long as Holywood/USofA dictates to the EU the rules of engagement, i.e. torpedoing the core EU idea of a "common, unified market", forcing it into feudal territories...

It's just the really nasty, greedy buggers are creating these kinds of problems in order to have HW monopoly, which screws us, the consumers, as we can't choose a HW on which to watch our subscriptions and then they can charge higher prices for their HW. That was the point of opening up various providers to various equipment, i.e. making it mandatory for the providers to give consumers a choice (multiple STBs, more universal types, CI CAMs for various encryption systems etc.) but... One law for the rich and mighty, another for the rest of us...

    6.3

    - Misc E2 fixes
    - Filme-fnc fix
    - IMDB-fnc fix
    - WiFi hotspot misc changes
    - Plugins like bitrate, blurayplayer, dreamplex, e2m3u2bouqet, youtube, autobouqetsmaker, serviceapp,
    - Probable fix with the issue of Kodi GUI size on some boxes like Vus ? Maybe others as well.
    - Channel settings from Ciefp and Morpheus updated
    - Various python utils

In the most cases a simple SW update should be sufficient.

All the feeds should be up to date 'till afternoon.

It's all very well going for strong HW - but going to a very different processor and NOT being open to the community can bite you in the arse...

Amlogic S922X is quad core + 2 core for RAM etc. Other strong new boxes don't really lag behind in anything seriously important, they are all more than powerful and they can all do the job - but the combination of proper support from the manufacturers (with kernel, drivers, codec, low level stuff etc.) + support from various other corners of this industry/hobby is THE point missed here by some...

And in some respects - even HW-wise - this DMM DB One box is lagging behind: no DVB-C/T2 tuner, for instance, no space for built-in HDD/SSD and a number of other features sported by Zgemma H7x/Mutant 51 OEM boxes and Edision OS mio 4K (64b), both with Broadcom processors, which lead the way at the moment, plus fast learning HiSilicon guys with their powerful quad core processors but cheap as chips (see Zgemma H9 TWIN and COMBO STBs and soon to be produced dual OS Zgemma H10, plus other manufacturers) etc. etc.

Oh, well... DMM have lost it a while ago, being at odds with the community, arrogant as they always were, hence no thanx! No fun! I see Zgemma and others being way more fun than DMM and Vu, that's for sure!!! Open to the community and co-operating with us properly, something DMM have lost long ago, if they ever had it...
