Gorski, please could your team check converter "ServiceInfoEX"?

No skin can detect HEVC (H.265) codec as video type.

Can you see the error of your ways, m8?

You sent us on a wild goose chase, not letting us know what you have been doing, wasting a lot of our time for nothing.

You have been proven wrong above, so please - next time, if you ask for help, include ALL the RELEVANT info, please... Not just you - anyone should do that, a minimal common sense action, FCOL...

Next time, please don't withhold a vital piece of information like that... It's a sheer waste of time...

Matrix is where you got that file from. And it has been superseded by Estuary in more ways than one....

We need a Full HD skin here...

What exactly is Estuary not showing for you?

    1) i will try oscam emu ccahe but now with this cccam i open more and all channels--++ cable providers then any ver of oscam mg and so on ..

    2) and some times 50% this memory caching and so on is slowing down the receiver

    3) i cannot play 4k hdr from lan network freezes lag

    1) How can you know this is you haven't tried OSCam Emu Ccache (with a good server)?

    2) How do you "know" this, how did you measure this?

    3) I just checked - no lag whatsoever, in my Edision OS mio 4K+ with PurE2 v. 6.5, up-to-date.

Ha, look what Terra just found:

looks like a converter for Skin MetropolisHD

    it's from franc, i see

    Code
    https://github.com/FrancHR/Enigma2-Skin-MetropolisHD

Some kind of converter there... Hmmm, when Franc comes online we can ask him... ;)

    As I suspected (see above)...

    From Terrajoe:

this File is not in enigma2. he can push it by hand if he needs it :-)

    Code
    https://github.com/Sirius0103/enigma2-components/blob/master/python/Components/Converter/ServiceInfoEX.py

it looks like this converter is from openvision

I opened it now and found some FNC components, so it must have been additionally skinned for PurE2, I presume...

    I'll ask the coders... ;)

EDIT: no *EX.py file at all... so I asked the knowledgeable guys... :)

This is probably not our plugin, m8, so find the author (inside the plugin folder?) and write to him...

The codec is usually supported by the manufacturer, usually on HW level...

Again, you are not giving us ALL the relevant details: what, how etc.???

While installing FNC plugins from MENU > Plugins > green button > Extensions > one will automatically get several additional plugins installed, like ServiceApp, FFmpeg and SubSupport.

One should set up SubSupport either in (just) one of FNC plugins and it will be set for all plugins or in MENU > Plugins > SubSupport settings > Subtitle search settings.

Now, if one has ServiceApp installed one can choose an Enigma2 playback player: MENU > Setup > System > ServiceApp > Enigma2 playback system > gstplayer/exteplayer3/original. This is setting a priority player for streaming and playback.

However, if one sets Enigma2 playback player to Exteplayer3 - it is not enough, at least with some FNC plugins.

One must connect with one's STB via FileZilla Client FTP protocol and change it in cfg.cfg file - as Franc says - in Filme-FNC plugin also. Otherwise I was getting BSODs...

In some FNC plugins one has it in MENU > one of the many settings values, changeable by a remote controller. But not for all, in which case this is what one does, in principle:

The same applies for Serien, i.e. edit the same file in Serien-FNC plugin, also.

On closer inspection of settings files in, for instance, Filmler-FNC plugin, one can add one's Open Subtitles account details in (this is for Edision OS mio 4K+, which is 64b processor):

/usr/lib64/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/FilmlerFNC/subs => open os.py with Notepad++ and in line 61 and 62 put in your username and password.

For a usual processor the path is slightly different, i.e. it's usr/lib/enigma2...

Please, note that there is some geo-blocking sometimes, so one should also use a VPN service, for protection and to open some services: use a German IP address for Filme and Serien FNC plugins.

For Filmler, one should use a Turkish VPN address, of course... and hope for the best...

Bee, all our languages are "foreign"...:laugh1:

Fabulous FNC plugins by Franc (for PurE2 users)!!!

You should use ServiceApp > Exteplayer3 and internal player (using File List or PVR or a similar button on your RCU), not E2iStream/E2iPlayer in PurE2 v.6.5, as explained/warned...

You can download anything, more or less, using YIFY-FNC plugin - the only torrent player for Enigma2 done by PurE2 Team!

Setup the Subs stuff as described above, then play as mentioned, starting the subs using the blue button...

Given that a number of us in this thread do not have that problem, then it stands to reason he must learn/improve...
