  • Filme-FNC

    While installing FNC plugins from MENU > Plugins > green button > Extensions > one will automatically get several additional plugins installed, like ServiceApp, FFmpeg and SubSupport.


    One should set up SubSupport either in (just) one of FNC plugins and it will be set for all plugins or in MENU > Plugins > SubSupport settings > Subtitle search settings.

    Now, if one has ServiceApp installed one can choose an Enigma2 playback player: MENU > Setup > System > ServiceApp > Enigma2 playback system > gstplayer/exteplayer3/original. This is setting a priority player for streaming and playback.

    However, if one sets Enigma2 playback player to Exteplayer3 - it is not enough, at least with some FNC plugins.


    One must connect with one's STB via FileZilla Client FTP protocol and change it in cfg.cfg file - as Franc says - in Filme-FNC plugin also. Otherwise I was getting BSODs...

    In some FNC plugins one has it in MENU > one of the many settings values, changeable by a remote controller. But not for all, in which case this is what one does, in principle:

    The same applies for Serien, i.e. edit the same file in Serien-FNC plugin, also.


    On closer inspection of settings files in, for instance, Filmler-FNC plugin, one can add one's Open Subtitles account details in (this is for Edision OS mio 4K+, which is 64b processor):


    /usr/lib64/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/FilmlerFNC/subs => open os.py with Notepad++ and in line 61 and 62 put in your username and password.


    For a usual processor the path is slightly different, i.e. it's usr/lib/enigma2...


    Please, note that there is some geo-blocking sometimes, so one should also use a VPN service, for protection and to open some services: use a German IP address for Filme and Serien FNC plugins.


    For Filmler, one should use a Turkish VPN address, of course... and hope for the best... :)

  • News regarding PurE2 - updates, problems and so on...

    If the manufacturer set it to 720 in drivers, then we can't do anything about it, if I got it right, since our skin is full HD 1080.


    Once you start a movie it will be across the whole screen, btw...


    OLM, Iwaatch, Streamlord, YIFY, xG+Hamster, HbbTV in terms of videos and more, like Radio and so on...

  • Enigma2 Image Teams or OpenPLi and Dream Multimedia Copies ?

    OK, OK, thanx but let's calm down and take a deep breath for a sec, please...


    First of all, speaking personally, I am no coder, period. If my very life depended on coding - I'd be dead.


    So, Delfi, Franc, Terra are the real forces behind the image, which is following in the traditions of PBNIGMA...


    PB follows DMM and co., then some OpenPLi and that means ViX as well etc. All these guys deserve some credit in various ways...


    We all learn from each other and passing of knowledge is natural and cool! PurE2 was not created in a vacuum...


    On the other hand, creativity in PurE2 is second to none, I agree. We have a number of "firsts" in the world, in our Team and there can be no doubt about that (including some of my efforts in terms of support of various kinds).


    Having said that, this is but a hobby for us. We do not live by earning money from this.


    So, again, let's calm down, breathe a bit and chillax... ;) :)

    Yes.


    Don't install things manually, only from Plugins > green button. It's all there, more or less...


    And don't restore settings. Errors frequently happen right there!

    Sorry, DE is not our plugin, m8.


    As I wrote a little earlier (post 519 here: News regarding PurE2 - updates, problems and so on... ), I use File commander which is built in our image (also not our plugin) to delete stuff.


    Dream Explorer to edit files via remote and it works...


    So, no need to download File Commander additionally, it is already in PurE2 and it is working. Delete the one you installed and try again... ;)

    Flash on the fly function gives you PurE2 v. 6.5 in some cases, as mentioned above...
