Abu, isn't DM800SE only Sat TV STB?

That's about it. The limit... If it (800HD SE) imports the Favs which you made (on H7C) of both providers and if it can't play from both tuners/providers...
Unless you can combine it (2 cable coaxes) successfully with HW (combiner) to a single (H7C) tuner and get it all to stream (via LAN) to the other receiver (800HD SE)...
I think... ;)

Btw, I am also a sucker for people coming back and NOT just saying "I did it" and pissing off!
You came back and properly explained and documented it!
Well bloody done, that's the spirit!!!:cool1:

OSCam is way better and it has nothing hidden in it - it's Open Source! Just learn how to put the C line in...
MENU > pManager > Install CamD > Confirm External Feed installation, then > Install CamD of your choice, say CCcam 2.3.8.
When done, go back and install extra CCcamD config files, if you wish (3 more in the list).
But the main one is already downloaded with the CCcam itself. It's in /etc: CCcam.cfgDEMO. Edit the title (= rename) to remove the DEMO bit. Add your C line.
Restart CamD.
Good luck!

I luv happy-endings... :crying1::eye-tongue::P
:thumbup:My guess with splitter/combiner is you have 2 ways of trying it out and you will need a few of those pieces to get a successful outcome...:rasta2bigsmoke0gf1:

Cool, if it works...
Also, one could maximise it as follows:
splitter for each Cable provider coax, then
combiner for each tuner and so
each Cable provider is in both tuners - use all of them cable channels any way one wants... :)
-
And another New Year's eve little presie... ;)
Franc updated some stuff like lookseries-fnc and lookmovies-fnc.
Njoy! :)
-
Likewise! :)
Delfi/tromo says:"Low cost Dinobots like IziBox ECO twin HD and Axas HIS Twin - ported a variant of our Estuary skin, feeds ok. Added CPU control."
-
I have 3 of those splitters at home, for DVB-S2x + DVB-T2.
12 LNBs (DVB-S) + 1 terrestrial cable go into a "combiner" (17 in 1 EMP switch), then
a single coax cable comes into the house, which I split with one that looks like the first link I posted earlier.
If I split my terrestrial cable again it looses too much in terms of dB, so some channels are unwatchable... No amplifiers allowed! :D
-
Cool. Tell us how it works - and good luck!
-
More like a combiner with 2 INs and 1 OUT, non?

You mentioned 2 different frequency ranges. Ergo, you must find something that does precisely that, I guess... -
Yeah, I thought of that as a first solution but he probably wants to record/view different channels from different providers sometimes, so I didn't mention it... I mean, it would not be a proper solution - there is still a problem with 2 DVB-C tuners not working together, like 2 DVB-S2 can...
But if there is no hero to delve into the guts of the E2 beast, then realistically it is what he can do....
-
Wrong person to ask...
-
-
Superb! Thanx!!! :)
-
Indeed, E2 has that option. But it also has "scan for channels in the background" and unless you swithc it off these may reappear...
Hence it is safer to make your Favs without the empty slots...
-
So, as I said, make a Fav with "good ones" and forget about it... ;)

I know of a series of issues with respect to playback on Vu products, on account of various codecs/formats not being supported by Vu. Just check out their partners, over on OpenPLi forum, reporting such issues every so often and the issues not being resolved by Vu (or their HW manufacturers, like Broadcom who provide kernel and drivers or at least most of it?)...
Get Zgemma H7 and enjoy, most probably... ;) I am not at home to check a specific file but...

Hold on a sec, m8...
I just went into my H9.2H, which I took with me to holidays and I saw a few of those "empty" spaces on Sat TV 28E. But that is normal... I mean, UK Terrestrial list also has a few of those channels with numbers only (not as many but they are there).
So, these are channels which are some test channels, some double channels etc. etc.
I mean, if memory serves, when you choose one of them usually there is some content, isn't there?
So, it's just a matter of going through them and seeing if you want them or not, then put them in your Favs. Simple.
Maybe one can give them a name in an editor?

More info, m8... otherwise how do we know what and how...???
