i appreciate your work .. but i am sure it is skin bug ( with the purple style!!) .. it may be unbelievable , but it is the reality of the situation.

this has nothing to do with skin components.. tmdb is not required. (off topic for me)

I disagree, there is a bug in the purple style aglare skin... the problem does not occur with the default color aglare skin!!!

For me, it only downloads "Live TV."
During VOD downloads, I get a green screen error and the device restarts. "Movies" and "TV Series" won't download.
In older versions of BMX, it downloaded "Movies" but not "TV Series."

Installing e2iplayer - deps will not solve the Bad magic number error. This error occurs due to an inappropriate python in the image, or in the plugin. I did a software update on an older version of OpenATV, all seemed to be OK, updated the SF8008, rebooted it and all operational.
After about 10 minutes of use, the webif froze and I can no longer get it to open up to control the SF8008.

I have dreambox control centre installed and it can connect to the SF8008 so I used the init 6 telnet command to reboot the box, still no webif access.
There is no webif access either using the dreambox control centre inbuilt webif. I also rebooted the remote PC, still no webif access.

FTP on the remote PC using filezilla can connect to the SF8008 and I can view the file structure.
Is there some way to get the SF8008 to reboot to another image slot via FTP or dreambox control centre or any other solution to resolve the issue.

I have another SF8008 that I could backup an image from but not sure how I would get that installed and booting in the remotely located SF8008.

Any help most appreciated.
