sorry to revive the topic, i downloaded e2iplayer using above method, but still could not play mkv files locally using usb (files downloaded from youtube),other formats like MP4, TS are perfectly played. i would request MODs and SAMSAMSAM to pls advice me that how could i resolve the problem. I searched the web but so information is there.

I upgraded the image and replaced files as described. It reboot OK, But when I go to plugins, and click green (download plugins) error message comes up( Kernel has changed, reinstall image via USB.)

FIX satfinder-manual scan
extract and move replace ScanSetup.pyo on /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens
and plugin.pyo to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/Satfinder
