With the latest oscam emu patch v781 just add the bin file and start oscam as normal, the reader will create it's self for you and away you go.

Can you take a picture of the error ?
-
It could be that you use special characters in your passcode which sometimes cause an issue, have you tried changing it ?
-
Everything you need is in this thread.
Tutorial - Ubuntu Server 11.10, 12.xx, 13.04 x32/x64 - Auto Oscam/CCcam 2.1.3 Install

I have to ask why you need this ? for me stability is far more important, my server up time is 49 days.
-
The hard work comes when making a prio that works for you, the same applies with either cam.
If you are one of these people that download and adds someone else's prio then you are asking for problems.
A prio file is individual depending on your server.
Spend a few hours testing P and I lines. The long term benefit makes all the difference.

Can you give me any more info ? Are you starting it with a script or have you tried via telnet with command -b ?
-
Assuming you have simplebuild working on a 64bit system you need to use the SOLO4K toolchain
-
Can you share your configs but remove any personal info.
Also did you compile oscam yourself or is it from this board or elsewhere ?
-
Difficult to say without knowing your complete set up and configs, is it a local card ? CAM or EMU issue ?
The more info you can share the better the help people can offer.
-
Have you check your oscam log for clues ?
-
How and what are you using to compile ? armv7 is correct.

MIPS is the processor that your DM800SE uses, the rest of your question is a little disjointed as they refer to image OE structure and builds which is not relevant to your main issue/question.
misu You are a little off the mark buddy.
I know the processor of my box.
the q was about type of OSCAM: oscam-svn11429-mipsel-webif; oscam-svn11433-mipsoe20-webif or oscam-svn11431-openpli40-webif
read my post again.
What image are you running on your 800SE ? without that information you can not get the answer, also I assume you are asking in this section because you are unsure what oscam to build ?

Wondering if it is possible for my bedroom linux box which is running mgcamd to update the 0b01 card in my pc server. Not important as I can pop in into my VU duo once a month anyway.
On the AU line of your Oscam server client add the reader label eg: AU: pcsc1
-
Did you use the command killall -9 oscam to stop the current process or did you just replace the binary and start another process ?
My advice is use simplebuild to compile your own oscam binary.
-
Have you tried the reader in all USB ports ?
Have you built oscam with pcsc support ?
Open webinfo and it should read something like this at the bottom.
- OSCam: 1.20-unstable_svn Build: r11425 Compiler: i686-linux-gnu-libusb-pcsc

ok is camd3 for arm recievers ???
Yes it works fine on ARM or MIPS STB, use Oscam Wiki, it is very easy, just use basic setup.
-
I have said before on a local network use Camd3, oscam is built around this protocol and it works best , try it.
