    View Mode:

    If you click OK on text formatted file (.txt, .xml, .tv, .sh, etc), it wil open the file viewer in wrapping mode. You can use the menu to enable/disable text wrapping.



    Edit mode:

    Point to the file, click Menu and select "Edit". This will open the file editor where you can change things then save the file or cancel the changes. In this mode, there is no wrapping. This mode can also be used to view files.


    Note: Saving changes to your files will always create a backup copy (xx.bak) of the original file before saving the changes .

    The problem exists in OpenATV 7.2. I tested it on the Octagon SF8008 and Edision OSmio+.

    As you can see in the picture I sent, we cannot longer change the duration of the timeout to another than 2sec.

    The problem seems to occur on OpenATV when you click OK to pick the timeout from a list.

    This has been fixed for the next version.


    For the moment, you can still change the timeout settings with the Left/Right arrows.

    You can add your custom IPTV prefix words to remove from IPTV tables

    .. Example: Adding the word "Sport | En:" will remove it from all IPTV channel names in the tables.

    The OpenDroid team stopped more than a year and a half ago, and the official website and the image feed accordingly stopped


    It is an image that I see with a different experience for lovers of experimentation and change... The image is Python 3.9.7


    So I made a topic for those who like to reuse the image and do not find links to the images and a solution to make Feed work so that the additions can be installed on the image ....


    As the failure to work in the image feed causes the unavailability of the necessary libraries & Package to install the plugins

    ☜ After downloading the image and installing it on the external one... I tried installing it via Neoboot

    ☜ Unzip any version of the openatv 7.1 image to worked feed links to use it as a substitute for OpenDroid so that you can install the necessary libraries & packages

    ☜ It is also possible to install many compatible add-ons from the opatv feed, but you need to experiment

    ❀❀ Just sharing about what I tested by installing on the image ❀❀


    ✍ weather plugins and subsupport from the feed are installed


    ✍ AJPanel was installed mainly to restore the settings of the tuner and channels from the telnet via the download links


    ✍ DreamsatPanel is installed and you definitely need to use an FHD skin to make it, as the default skin for the image is Steampunk with HD resolution

    But I personally love this skin....and I modified it to work on xtraEvent (attached) which is what I prefer


    ✍ The original skin has settings found in the plugins browser under the name Steampunk HD Configtool to change the screens via the X poster for components prepared by the team, but when trying it, the skin stuck and neither the plugins nor the skin worked for me ... I did not follow up to search for the cause of the error


    ✍ E2IPlayer plugin installed


    ✍ Ncam and Oscam plugins have been installed with their latest versions
