    I only have 10 movies unfortunately. But if you want to try you can't have 500 movies, let's not say weirdness :)

    i think find the problem

    i have old line about plugin on setting file, by remove it it's better on list menu

    but when change to backdrop style it freeze again by moving between movies

    for your knowledge panel can work a lot of portal server and you can check from color for player bar which color is changing related to server

    but subtitle downloader is something else, you can have it from next telnet code

    or you can use AJPanel to control setting for subtitle, but it not have srt file or download it -- just it give you control to setting as (delay - bg trans % - text color - text font - text size - alignment - shadow color - shadow size - position & encoding)

    i download latest from github the new files which made from 4 hours

    install it -- do as you advise

    strange thing is no mention to movie folder path on setting file

    plugin not save the path which do by choice /media/hdd


    see the setting file what have !!

    Yes, Unfortunately i miss new added feature for skins you did at last version

    may be i have a lot of files on external hdd !! which take long time to fetch movie file, I don't know ?

    but new version by setting path /media/hdd can't find my movie folder and as i saying freeze and take so long time

    this same happen on openatv 7.2 - openpli 8.3 - egami

    for that i back to old version

    I try dear last version by you from github, and do all what you recommend

    It freeze and spinner still running for more than 15 minutes, until i do force reboot

    Plugin cant find my movie folder which is /media/hdd/movie not /media/hdd

    For that i back to old version which work with me

    Did you once try the SubtilePlayer plugin?Install and try, very nice and simply works.You will easily solve that it can be used in combination with an AJPanel

    of course i use and know what is SubsSupport plugin from years !!!!

    what is not clear to you ...AJPanel is stand a lone plugin not work with or via any other plugin

    if you want get srt file for movies by SubsSupport do at plugin download setting path folder you can collect all subtitle you have

    and then you can choice it from ajpanel to play or edit

    Now tested on new egami 10.3 py 3.11.0 it's working great
