sorry can you provide me by step by step how to go to and open /etc/enigma2/settings and type and save
Very easy by using any ftp program as DCC and follow
1- open telnet and copy & paste
init 4
2- going to /etc/enigma2
you will find settings file
open and add Your API Key
save
3- back to telnet and copy & paste
init 3

Hi,
Sorry, but I'm facing a "dilemma". I am not succeeding.
I have set, in Settings, the Path /media/hdd to the Backup/Restore Path option.
But, in /media/hdd there is no such Folder, configured in Settings.
But the most worrying thing is that I don't have the "Config. Options" panel.
ok, let's do it on 3 step
1- get the file named (ajpanel_update_url) from Participation #132
2- create folder named as you want on external memory
3- put the file inside that folder you made & refer to that folder in panel setting
then you will find it displayed on "Config. Options" as attached pic. on Participation #138

Hi biko.
I didn't understand "panel folder backup on external".
I transferred the "ajpanel_update_url", unzipped it and put it in:
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/AJPan
I restarted Box.
I opened the AJPan, but I don't find the "Update AJPanel" Option.
What am I doing wrong?

One of the basics on which the panel was designed is to create a folder on the external memory, whether it is a hard disk or flash memory
This folder is indicated in the panel settings
And the backup for channels, tuners and softcams are kept in it, as well as their restoration
The color file for the panel, as well as the update file, is also placed in it
So it can be used on different images

unzip folder Icons FHD, you will find 2 folder (iconbighd-iconhd) to folder Images in plugin folder
same to folder (windhd)
same to backgroundhd folder - Rename the background you like to backgroundhd
plugin support 1 background

In former Releases I saw Pictures from an Auto-Update Function in AJPanel, but I've never found it on myself. Was it removed in newer Versions?
If not, could you please tell me where it is located?
And: If it is removed, can I just Overwrite the old installed Version (v3.30) with the new IPK with the "opkg install" or "opkg install --force-overwrite" - Telnet-Command.
Or do you suggest to better remove the old version completely and make a "fresh" install of the new one? Thanks in Advance !!!

Update from plugin still exist but need update file which contain link in panel backup folder, feature activated on panel setting

Wow many imagebuilders made already the switch I see :thumbup:
Also I made (sooner than expect) TheWeather py3 ready.
So on the start page you can find the new "enigma2-plugin-extensions-theweather-py3_1.7_all.ipk"
Please test it, I'm not sure it will work on every py3 skin or image.

Btw is it only OpenATV 6.5/7.0 thats runs py3?

If possible, the ipk extension may take priority due to the larger user base
About Python 3 support images, Now most of the teams are moving to it because it is the future, new packages depend on it

Yes, LIVE TV also worked for me, but no VOD and no Series. As I said, I maybe experimented too much with my Image and destroyed something important. Even if a clean install / flash of VTI Image would work, I will NOT do that anymore, because I love the versatility of openATV. And I anyway wanted to upgrade to Python 3 sometime. So I will stay at openATV 7.1 now. I know it's a Beta (or maybe just an Alpha?) Version, but those Plugins I need already work with it fine :)

It looks like my skin doesn't recognise these types of render="xtraPoster, Banner etc...

let me ask On any device and any image try the skin
I advise you to do experiments on the image openatv
Why doesn't the skin recognize the widget... it doesn't have anything that causes crah
Attach the skin to me so I can check it with you if you like

This is not a plugin
It is a standalone renderer similar to the plugin Extra Event in showing the poster of the current or next event on the infobar
It is added and used independently and is placed in the path
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Renderer
The widget is added for current event to the infobar screen as follows
