Please tell us which box and image you are using so we can help you better
-
To be fair to BH it is a beta image but it does seem strange they let it go into the wild?
perhaps they wanted to be first dev team to implement linux kernel 3.1.1 on Vu+ boxes but without fully beta testing first!
-
Glad you got sorted m8 :hilinuxsat:
-
You only need to initialize the HDD once on linux boxes i find it best to load Vu+ base image to initialize the HDD for the first time and after that you can load any image you want
-
try setting up a swap file on your USB stick and double check that Picons/EPG are really being stored on the USB stick and that the USB stick is mounted properly
having to many providers for epg can also cause a lot of crashes
-
Just go to menu/setup/system/osd/osd setup and you can move the image up or down and left or right
if this dont work properly try changing the aspect ratio on your tv
-
The price looks ok at EUR 209.00 (Approximately £176.83) on Spanish ebay 380330934060
i wonder what image it uses?

Just edited your post tytus 56 the blue writing made it really hard to read the yellow is more mellow :feel_good:
-
both are about the same price and seem bit steep but it will turn a single tuner into a multi sat receiver and a dual tuner into a triple tuner plus if you sell the box you can keep the tuner for your next box
there will be a new Sundtek tuner in Q1 next year joint10
-
I dont know about the Vu+ yet! but PCTV Nano Stick 460e and Sundtek are confirmed to be working fine on Xtrend Series Linux 3.0
these should work when on all the Vu+ boxes when they upgrade the kernel to 3.1.1 soon

If you are using cccam with vix are you using the right one for the vix image "enigma2-plugin-cams-cccam.2.2.1_1.0-r0_mipsel"
and you need to do a online update on latest vix 2.3 as this fixes a small cam bug that existed on release
also add this to the top of your config file "ALLOW TELNETINFO=YES" it helps with the built in cam check program
Vix cams can be found here ViX Softcam Collection.

There have been a lot of problems with people using D-Link DWA-140 in the past so im not sure if it has been fixed in vix 2.3 as i don't have this model
you need to turn of the box remove the LAN Cable then plugin the D-Link DWA-140 start the box then then go settings/network settings and setup the WiFi dongle and hit ok
-
I would try them all m8 and see which suits your needs the best.
BH/VIX/VTI/ are the main image builders
i would personally recommend the latest Vix image 2.3

Here is a review of the Eagle BOX MINI HD by silverfox0786
QuoteDisplay MoreThe Box is small and no space was wasted good good
Before getting to the remote the manual in plastic sheet was placed and bellow that a few tick box items
These Items I'm sure will alleviate a few buyer restrictionsthere was as standard a Componet and RS232 cable in the box and a yes yes item and IR Blaster
The Box itself is small and way smaller than a DM500 its just shy bigger than my fitPC2
i also is wall mountable via screw hooks or supplied 3M Stickypads which is also included with the IR Blaster
The remote is very slim lines and has a nice directional pad feature in chrome brushed silver looks cooool
So in essence you can take this out the box and connect it ready to role to a SD or HD TV with out anything extra
connecting it up was easy LNB, HDMI, Netcable and supplied 12v Power Supply is all you need [optional extra is a USB Pendrive] [1 USB Port on Side]
The Menu is easy if your a spiderbox user then the menu is same just different look on GUI in fact it reminded me of the Bald Eagle with the color scheme used
As usual you have the CCcam and Newcamd features easily added without issues either by USB or manually with remote nice and easy
The only thing i will say is the IR blaster is there so box can be hidden away well that is all well and good but you will have to use it via HDMI for that as it uses the same port as the component port
So Far this box ticks many boxes and I'm pretty happy with it here are a few boxes that it ticks for me
Great Price
Comes complete ready to go for a HD or SD TV
Very small and sleek
wall mountable [with stickpad fixings]
slimline remote
easy menu GUI
CCcam/Newcamd compatible
USB Port
HDMI
Component [with cable]
RS232 [With Cable]
IR Blaster
Very easy to navigateThe only downpoint i saw which is not a major downpoint is the IR blaster cant be used with a SD TV

i dont use oscam so i cant help you there master g andyblack from the Vix team recommends using build 4863 as its the most stable with vix
