    What is confusing me and if my memory isn't playing tricks with me is that my setup has been running fine until recently or maybe I just didn't notice the problem as it seems to show up intermittently.

    Could be server issues outwith your control then, best to use MasterG's files for oscam and go from there.

    Trying that now. Oscam is running ok with the config that MasterG supplied however I cannot get it to open the cline from my friend. I have added it in the oscam server like this

    [reader]

    label = Cline

    protocol = cccam

    device = xxxxxx.dyndns.tv,13000

    key = 0102030405060708091011121314

    user = test

    password =test

    group = 1

    Maybe there is something I need to do in the oscam config.

    Thanks guys for getting back to me. Yes I am running both lines in mgcamd ok. I have the same mgcamd config as master G has suggested. What is confusing me and if my memory isn't playing tricks with me is that my setup has been running fine until recently or maybe I just didn't notice the problem as it seems to show up intermittently. I don't have dvbapi on the box.

    Hi All,

    A new problem has showed up on my VU+ duo running Vix 4 image. My setup is I run mgcamd which clears channels from an Oscam server perfectly. I have a C line from a friend's cccam server which clears his channels fine. I have this line in keys / cccamd.list. Recently after about 10 / 15 minutes watching a cccam channel it will begin to freeze every 10 / 20 seconds or so. If I change and watch a channel from the oscam server these run perfectly. Re-booting the box will restore operation but the problem will soon return again. I have tried the lines on a basic amiko mini and they run perfectly all the time so the problem is with the VU+.

    Thanks for your quick response.

    At the moment I run mgcamd on my VU and have a line from my friend which is cccam. Both run ok. I have a cccamd.list file in the keys folder along with the mg_cfg and newcamd.list which run both cccam and mgcamd lines no problem. If I run oscam only in my alien can I acheive this.

    Hi canthackkit,

    Did you get sorted. I put my card in box with cccam 5 days before it was due for update. It also took half the updates and pictures disappeared from box. Maybe I have to wait until all emm's have expired

    Tried for quiet a while but I cannot get Digital+ to share, Meo, Cyfra, Germany and my friends 0963 all on my server as proxie readers work 100% . My config's are as follows. I tried different ports just in case. I am using MGcamd in my client boxes throughout the house. My configs are as follows with user's, passwords and ports changed for obvious reasons.

    Thanks anniman,

    Found it. This is what it looks like. Do I edit this to point it to my oscam which is usr/local/bin/oscam. I see below it has -b at the end. Is this why my new version oscam is not starting when I try to install it.

    #!/bin/sh -e

    #

    # rc.local

    #

    # This script is executed at the end of each multiuser runlevel.

    # Make sure that the script will "exit 0" on success or any other

    # value on error.

    #

    # In order to enable or disable this script just change the execution

    # bits.

    #

    # By default this script does nothing.

    sleep 30

    /usr/local/bin/oscam -b

    sleep 30

    /usr/local/bin/cccam_2.1.3

    exit 0

    UPDATE. this part of the problem resolved.

    I removed the -b and now my oscam interface is displaying the latest version of oscam.

    Thanks anniman and the other contributors johndeere88 and codar for you assistance so far.

    Digital plus still will not clear but I now have confirmed that it was not the older version of oscam that was causing my problem. I will post the outcome in due course.

    OK.

    To calarify, are you saying that there is a startup script that is telling my server to run the old version 9584 and not the new 11396 version .

    How can I check the startup script.

    Thanks for your response.

    Ports and user / passwd displayed are example only. My oscam is 9584 and is on my pc. If I want to update oscam is it just a matter of downloading the latest version and replacing the old one and 755 etc.

    Update.

    I tried updating my oscam to 11396. I re-named my oscam to oscam.old and FTP'd new version to same location and named it oscam and chmod 755. Oscam runs ok but oscam interface displays r9584. Am I missing something here.

    Thanks guys,

    Yes my friend has re-share enabled ok. I think it might be something to do with caid / id as johndeere88 has mentioned. My bedroom box ( amiko mini ) server says its connected but displays cw fail. I will take another look at the port and caid etc and report back. I thought that I did not need to open a port on my router if I am just sharing internal ???????.

    my newcamd. config

    Hi All,

    My friend sent me 2 N lines to put on my server which will allow my bedrooms etc connect to my oscam server. One line is for his German card which works OK, however the N line for Digital + on 19e does not clear pictures. My bedroom boxes say that they are connected and are seeing the N line but still no Digital + pictures. I have confirmed his N line is OK by putting it in a box and it works fine but not when I put it in my server. Here are my configs.

    Any ideas anyone.

    I have been running my Meo 1814 card in an alien using Ncam but would now like to use my old PC which has oscam installed to run my card and share to my bedrooms. For some reason I could only originally get it to run using Ncam in the alien and connect to my PC with N line and share using cccam. Now I intend to run and share it using oscam only. Do I need to install Ncam on my PC to achieve this or will I be able to get oscam to work.

    Thanks in advance.

    UPDATE.

    I tried using the same Ncam configs that work for me in my alien in my PC, however although my client boxes connect to the PC ok I cannot clear pictures. The log on the pc server says " no matching reader". I am running oscam in the PC. My bedroom boxes ( amiko mini server say " CW fail".

    Makes sense. Thanks for your input.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I am sure if I was causing issues on his server he would have let me know before this. I think my other friend was making the point that one stb with twin tuners is the same as two clients connected to the server from an ecm point of view ????????.

    Maybe he is correct. Wanted to confirm before I started buy the pints.;(;(.

    Happy new year.

    I am trying to settle a difference of opinion regarding a twin tuner Vu duo receiver.

    I currently have this box for years and have access to my friends card using one N line. This allows me to record one channel and watch another channel at the same time without any problems. These channels are not FTA. Another mate is adamant that I should have 2 N lines for this to work properly. He has stated that I will be causing a 'double login' on my mates server which will cause problems.

    I need clarification to settle this.
